O's troubled soul & low self esteem came at a young age-this almost led to self destruction. I was hoping she would listen to the people who loved her. I thought Hunter made a remarkable change. Good cast of characters, introductions, & message that proved that with God's love all things are possible.

Flesh, Flaws and All

I will say that there were times that I wanted to shake some sense into Olive, she frustrated me. I understood her brokenness and I really enjoyed how they author was able to show that there is always a root cause when someone is exhibiting destructive behavior.

There are so many great moments that take place in this book; Jason and Hunter's conversation, Hunter's conversation with Olive about having a relationship with Christ and Jason's analogy about the vacuum were all the things that made this a standout story. My only complaint was the relationship with Hunter, I didn't really like how that turned out. I was glad that he got saved, but I think he should have tried to work on his marriage. It just seem weird that he was saved and dropping all this wonderful spiritual knowledge on Olive, but didn't work on his marriage, especially since there were kids involved. Even if the author would have implied that he tried to work it out would have came across better that how it was written. For this reason is why I gave the book 4 stars instead of 5.

I really wanted her to be with the other guy. Cant say i like the ending.

A great example of Gods love and faithfulness. Can't help to fill sorry for all the lives destroyed by her desire to be loved.

Wow

I did not expect that ending. To read olive's transformation is amazing. She went through so much, from the beginning, she was destined to be great. God had an anointing on her life from the start. Her search for love in all of the wrong places was relatable.
