This is an adventure story featuring a retired detective, Richard Tracy, and a retired chef, Mary Beth Austin. Richard has been receiving threats and harassment. He prepares to run a marathon with Mary Beth riding her bike ahead of him on the course to cheer and support him. Mary beth cheers him from point to point, but suddenly he is gone.Now Mary Beth must help the police find and rescue Richard.
