Luca has his very first medical check up and discovers an important possibility: he may be having twins.
But with Adrian already so overwhelmingly fretful about his condition, Luca realizes that the alpha will become completely insufferable if he finds out. Stricken with guilt, the omega hides the news from his mate.
But is this really how he's supposed to act? Is this really what alpha and omega are to each other? His disobedience feels wrong, his attitude feels wrong, and as much as he is coming to love Adrian it seems the pieces just aren't fitting together properly.
Can Luca learn to overcome his own resistance and act as a proper omega?
Book 3 — The growing pains of a complex relationship...
This is the 3rd book of the series and here Adrian explains to Luca why he acts like that with his secretaries and why he needs to be the dominant wolf when they are with other ppl. Adrian tells him that he cant be nice with his secretaries bcs in the past many of them tried to seduce or get near him for his money, so to put a distance btw them he had to be a jerk. He admits that his attitude is wrong but at the same time tells him that he acted like this for too many years and now he doesnt know how to change. While talking about the pack hierarchy, Adrian explains to Luca that an Alpha is respected only if he acts as the dominant wolf, he cant be seen following someone else decisions also if that person is a mate, bcs other wolves could decide to challenge him and like it happened for his father he could die and also his mate could be killed or die for the pain. In this book Luca finds out that he is expecting twins, at start he doesnt want to tell Adrian that there is more than 1 baby bcs the Alpha is already too protective and he fears that he may be put on bed rest before the right time. More things happen in this short story. We meet for the first time Adrian's eldest brother, David, and there is something that i really didnt like about him, and I think that in the future he will be a problem. When Luca finally tells Adrian that they will have twins, Adrian isnt angry bcs the omega omitted this particular, but he is just happy bcs he had thought that Luca didnt want to be with him anymore and for this was avoiding him. The 3rd book is also where finally we see the big confession. Adrian tells Luca that he loves him and Luca replies the same and Adrian gives him a ring.
There are still a lot of questions without answers like for example, how could Adrian became the lead Alpha of the pack, when he is the youngest of his siblings?.
The story wasnt bad, but there isnt a real plot. I will give 3.5 stars bcs we finally understood why Adrian acted like a jerk in the past and why he pretends Luca to be submissive when they are with others.

First checkup with the pack doctor after being pregnant for 3 months. Luca gets the surprise of a lifetime when the doctor reveals the position of his uterus and what it means for his spine. Luca is wracked with worry over becoming a parent and keeping the truth about his discovery from Adrian.
Interesting info gleamed from this read. Omega males or omegas in general follow normal birthing time frame since Luca will be pregnant still four months (in time for Christmas making him 7 months along by then) after the last chapter. We get a bit more info about Adrian's family.
I liked the playfulness and Adrian's dotage. I was a bit bothered by how s Adrian didn't appreciate Luca setting up a picnic. His reasoning was understandable but I thought he could have showed some appreciation when he rejected it.
The growing relationship between the MC's and Luca's growing belly make for some fun moments. Luca is still learning a lot about being a wolf and Adrian's attitude earlier is making more sense. I felt warmer toward Adrian is this installment and was glad that we got a few pieces of his background. There is one sexy intimate scene which plays on one of the old omega standards. I'm interested to find out about how the delivery is supposed to happen and whether Luca will develop breasts (we're not told yet). I'm glad the installments are coming out close together and eagerly await the next one.
Learning more and more about the WHY on Adrian's behavior and why Luca should BE a certain way in some circumstances.. Why this wasn't 'explained' at the beginning by Adrian !?
With the secret being held and then Finally fessing up... I was surprised that Adrian didn't hit the roof but was ecstatic..
