REVIEW
This was truly a romance. Wade Devon is a ruthless millionaire who basically has never wanted any type of relationship with any woman aside from one or maybe 2 nights. When Wade decides to buy a horse farm while in town a laughter catches his ear, the woman who made the laugh catches his eye and more. Charlie is happy she gets to stay on the farm although sadden that her parents are selling it and moving away. She can't wait to meet the mysterious man who has purchased the farm or can she? Once Charlie's eyes land on Wade all bets are off and keeping her heart in tack well she isn't sure how she will manage. Very sweet romance that was not rushed.

I read this book in the Mischief Under the Mistletoe bundle.

Now I am a Claudy Conn fan and absolutely love her fantasy and regency romances. Collide & Burn is a fun contemporary romance about a player Wade. Wade is up front, he doesn't do relationships, he has fun and he has sex, nothing else. He doesn't want the women in his life to get attached. That is until he meets Charlie. He wants her more than any other woman. Just the sound of her laughter wakes him up inside and he doesn't know what to do. He is up front with Charlie about what he wants and Charlie decides to have a little fun. Wade doesn't know what is happening to him when unfamiliar feelings start happening to him. While they are having their fun, there appears to be someone stalking Charlie, but why? This was a sexy and intriguing read. I couldn't stop reading it and went through it fast. I loved it and know you will too.

Billionaire Wade Devon wanted a place to get away from everything. He loved riding horses and decides to buy a Horse Farm. He's meeting with his agent when he hears this captivating laugh and sees the natural beauty it came from. She was getting in a truck that had "Norcross Stables" on it. That was one of the farms his agent was going to take him to-well that was the first one he saw, loved and bought it. The captivating woman, Charlie Wells happens to be the daughter of the owners and wasn't there when Wade bought the place. Charlie's parents wanted to retire to Florida. Wade is letting Charlie stay in her apartment, has her own paddock for the horse Sassy and pet goat-Mr. Goat,. She only has to help on the farm is they are short handed and to keep an eye on everything . When she meets him, she's tongue tied at this gorgeous hunk of a man. He wants to get to know Charlie and wants to date her but warns her "no permanent relationship" - fun only and no guarantee on how long it will last. She's captivated with him but will she agree to his terms? Then there is the man-eating barracuda lawyer and a psychopathic friend, neither want Wade and Charlie to be together. What will be the outcome? What a fantastic romantic adventure that has suspense, hot & sexy sex. Loved this story!!

When a billionaire decides he wants to own a horse farm/ranch he sets out to do just that. With Cora's family deciding that its too much for them to run they decide to sell it. When he see's her in town he becomes intrigued with her, and even more so when he finds out she belongs to exactly the kind of place he's looking to buy. As the new owner of her family's ranch he tries to implement his business sense into horse business which doesn't set to well with her. To make matter worse they can't get near each other without setting off sparks.

A very sexy read by Claudy Conn. I read this as part of the box set "Mischief Under The Mistletoe".

He heard her laugh and he was hooked. He had to have her. The first time she saw him, her mouth fell open and a fly flew in and chocked her. this is a story about two people so enamored with each other but pretending that they can have a series of one night stands without developing a relationship. Dangerous situations develop which bring dangerous situations and their feelings to the surface. This is a fun entertaining and enjoyable read.

Wade is a very rich businessman who does what he wants, gets what he wants, etc. He decides he wants to buy a get away from the city. While meeting with his realtor, he hears a laugh and is entranced. He noticed the signage on the vehicle and lo-and-behold! It's on the list of properties for sale. So, he buys a horse farm.
Charlie's parents have worked 24/7 on their horse farm. They are selling in and retiring to Florida. As part of the bargain, Charlie gets to stay in an apt above the barn and, in return, help out around the farm.
So, of course, Wade is very sexually experienced with a list of partners more than a mile long. Charlie, of course, has had 1 (I should thank my lucky stars she wasn't a virgin) and has never had good sex. You see where this is going? Yep. The sex is the bestest ever between them (of course it would be).
Wade is the typical Alpha-hole. Charlie does call him on it. I didn't like all the "baby" this and "baby" that.
Unexpected attempted arsenic poisoning, jealous ex (being generous with the "ex" part, since Wade "doesn't do relationships").

What the hell just happened!

How the hell does this have a 4.26 rating? Damn those paid reviewers!

First off this was a freebie, and a damn good thing it was.....

Secondly, the book starts with HIS pov, but the rest of the story is HERS. If you're not going to give more insight to the man himself and what he's thinking.... don't bother using him in the Prelude. Several chapters I had to get through a few sentences to determine that it was still HER pov, I kept hoping for something, anything more....

Oh and I JUST finished this thing and I can't remember their names!

And can someone tell me where the middle of this story is? It read like it was an outline for a story or someone's daydream, not a novel.

Lastly, the books ends with "Don't compare us to a bloody battle, you naughty, wonderful man." How old are these people again?

Also not sure how long this story actually is..... There's really 2 here, but refuse to read the next because it was actually paranormal romance. After that last piece of ...... no thank you. First story was done at 65% so it guessing really only about 75 pages.

OMGosh! I Love this little gem of a story. It is very well written, fast paced, and easy to follow.

Claudy Conn has an enticingly wicked writing style that grabs my attention right off the bat. I Love that in a book.

A wonderful story of self discovery... full of humorous twists and mysterious turns... not to mention the pictuesque,  mind blowing, and sexy scenes.

Charlie has a decision to make... She can tell Wade is hell on wheels from the first time she saw him... yet there is something that sparks.

Wade is used to handling women like a business... Upfront, and honest... This is how we will do this...

When he decides that he needs a place away from the daily grind, he chooses to invest in a Horse Farm. When he hears an infectious laugh... he spins on a dime.

What happens is waiting to be discovered within.

I recommend this book to readers 18+ who enjoy romantic suspense mixed with a little humor to compliment their steam.

This is the first contemporary romance I have read by Claudy and I enjoyed it as much as her Historical and Paranormal romances.

In Collide and Burn we meet Wade, the playboy billionaire, and Charlie the relatively inexperienced girl next door as Wade purchases her parents horse farm. I liked Charlie, she wasn't the usual simpering female that gives in to everything and Wade, who found himself warring with his playboy nature when faced with wanting more from Charlie than his usual casual encounters, he didn't turn into an arrogant, nasty jerk. Throw in some suspense and a slight Christmas feel and you have a great wee read.

Billionaire Wade Deven loves horses, relaxing, and riding. He also loves women and being a bachelor. He decides to purchase a horse/riding farm. He hears her laugh and he's lost. Charlie's parents were co-owners of this farm and she's in hopes he will be a good and honest owner. He blows her mind away. Throw in a demented female lawyer who wants Wade for herself and a crazy stalker hell bent on having Charlie and you've got a great read! The ending is wonderful!

This story was one of joy and heartache. Wade did not believe in relationships, but Charlie did. It was fun to see Wade literally drop to his knees for this woman. Their chemistry was undeniable from the beginning.
