I didn’t love nor hate this story. It was a little dark. There were some twists and turns. It’s too fast paced to really know the characters. Blade is the president of a MC. He saved a young girl’s life one night many years ago, but he has never forgotten her. Blade didn’t recognize that girl when they meet again. Six has grown up and changed. She’s damaged and she doesn’t have an easy life. Six immediately connects with Blade. She has never forgotten him, because he made her feel safe on a night that changed her life forever. Someone wants to hurt Six, but Blade will do anything to protect his Six. There is an age difference between Blade and Six, but they don’t care about that. They want and need each other desperately. This book was over way too soon, but maybe Six and Blade appear in the next book in the series. That book will be Piper’s story and I liked her.

The prologue was amazing everything after that was awful. Great premise, but the execution and the way the characters behave, I could not handle anymore. Not for me, but may work for you.

The hero's sister and then the heroine's behavior...I just could not understand.

This book was too awkward to be a romance for me.

Really?
I don't think that in all of my time reviewing I have ever left a 2 star review. Especially not on a Hilary Storm book. I have followed her Rebel Walking series since day one, and was extremely excited for this. I am a huge MC lover, but this, this was disappointment. This was a story wrapped in disappointment. I wanted to love this book, the premise of it was a potentially amazing story. Then it just stopped. Like everything wrapped up in a nice neat bow, stopped. I actually stopped reading at 78% to do something, came back and what felt like 3 pages later was done. It actually ended at 83%
The nitty gritty...
Blade had the opportunity to be an amazing Hero, and in some ways he was. Maybe if we had gotten an epilogue or something it would have made it better, I dunno and guess we won't ever know.
Six- Liked her to a point. I am not going to spoil this book.
Piper- the most random character I have ever read.
Switch- really? Just a random space filler.

If this had about 30 more pages of tying up loose ends then maybe I would feel better and won't feel like I wasted my money on a quick throw together book that left me sad.
Sad because I do like Hilary Storm books, I have thoroughly enjoyed the RW series. But this, this makes me think I have been wrong in putting blind faith in her writing.

I'm not sure what I think of this one. Good storyline & writing, and I liked the characters for the most part. Blade/Evan and Tori/Six have an interesting relationship & a VERY unique meeting. There was just ... something... missing for me. I don't know what it was, because normally all of the things mentioned above would equate to a 5++ star read! I think I would have liked to see more interaction outside of sex between Blade & Six. I think they had a connection that was more than that & I could FEEL it, I just would have liked to have SEEN more of it. So, I think that was the disconnect for me. BUT, I think there will be more to the series, and I am looking forward to reading that. : )

I am a huge fan of the gritty romance that Hilary writes. You just never know how dark she is going to get but what you can count on is HOT, HOT, HOT!

I loved that this hot MC biker that is all bad and rough but when a girl gets under his skin, he just cannot help himself. Better for me is when the girl has fire. I love when you have a alpha girl and alpha guy duking it out to wear the pants.

I am in love. can't wait for book two.

My very first Hilary Storm book, and God how love romance Mc books. Hilary did not disappoint with six. It was full action. And the plot is so real these days. She really brought out the characters true igsistience. Evan aka us truly hero. He may have killed people but the way I look at it. He was just riding the world of the dirty scum.

Outstanding release from Hilary Storm. As her first MC romance she did an exceptional job crafting an engaging and super sexy read with characters that drew you into the story. I look forward to seeing what she does with Piper.

This MC story had lots of twists and turns. I loved all the significance around 'six', it really gave the story some depth. I liked how Blade was a bit of a anti-hero, a protective killer. Would have liked a bit more at the end though.

I wasn't sure about reading this one. I am not really into biker reads, but I did read it, and enjoyed it. It's not what I would call a romance story but it has potential. I am interested to see where Hilary takes it.

I can't make out heads or tails of the story. Scenes and conversations are jumped so abruptly.

The book is more like about the club than Six and the President.

Review

I’m a sucker for an MC book. I suppose you could say that they’re my guilty pleasure, but one without the guilt. Doesn’t usually matter who the author is, there’s something about motorcycle clubs that just does it for me.

Six is no exception.

I enjoy the camaraderie between members of the club and the suspenseful situations they find themselves in that coincide with the romance that usually takes place within its pages.

In this book, the situation they find themselves in and the romance are interconnected. Six (Tori) and Blade (Evan) have a past. One that spans twelve years, though from the moment they meet again in the here and now, it’s not made apparent. It’s something that takes time coming to light, but when it does, only seems to strengthen the connection made between the two once they are introduced to each other again.

I enjoyed both characters, though I will admit to connecting more to Evan’s character than I did Tori, but given the way everything plays out, how often we’re in Blade’s head, it makes sense. We spend more time in his mind, than we do Six’s though we are given a deep look into her.

What she lived through and everything she lost along with the reasons for all of it, they really resonated with me. I felt bad for her. Living through a situation that logically speaking she probably shouldn’t have, and then having to face it again head on as an adult, well it got to me.

Blade was the same way. You’re given a bird’s eye view into the way his life was lived before that moment in the alley with Six, what he’d had to suffer with along with Piper and why those things among other instances make him the person he is when he’s grown.

If there were ever two people that seemed almost destined for each other, it was them. Age differences be damned. I liked their interactions together, and enjoyed the steamier elements. I could believe in them and their connection, along with them ending up together.

My only complaint was the way it ended. Did it deliver in the way I wanted it to by books end? Absolutely, given everything the characters had been through. It just wasn’t as concrete as I was looking for. It felt quick and I wanted it to be more solid.

I’m interested to see what the author has in store for Piper and what role her older brother is going to play in it, for no other reason than getting to see even more of Evan’s over-protectiveness and maybe even more with the club members, delivering even more on the camaraderie I mentioned earlier.

Overall Rating: 4 Rockin’ ★★★★

He is a hero with a dark soul and she is the little girl he rescued from a dark, filthy alley when she was only six years old. This is an unbelievable story of abuse, a murder mystery and a once in a life time love. Hilary Storm has out done herself with this beautifully written love story, Six that demonstrates anything can be overcome with the right person by your side. Tori and Blade’s story while filled with difficult situations is also a story of love that finds a way.

Blade’s name was earned! As acting Prez of his MC, his focus is on rescuing and protecting the weak and innocent from those that would defile them. His mission had started with his own life and then expanded after he saved a young girl from rape and death at the hands of a pedophile. Years later he cannot believe that she is his sister’s best friend and the feelings she stirs are not brotherly. Recognition brings ownership and an overall desire to protect and claim her as his.

Nightmares refuse to let go of her. Her mother’s death and the replaying of the things that happened to her that night refuse to let go. Tori Douglas has only one thing that brings her peace and that is the memory of the man that saved her. Her dark knight that saved and protected her is her best friend’s brother. Now her hero is once again in her life, protecting her and keeping her safe from the horrors that have resurfaced from her past. Will Blade be able to save her this time?

Ms. Storm creates characters that are charismatic and at the same time human. She weaves tales of love, mystery and drama with a flair that enthralls and captivates her readers until the end. This book is filled with sexual tension, interaction and sizzling hot scenes that scorch the pages. I look forward to more from this talented author.

I can't believe that I didn't review this book the first time. So, I'm writing my review as someone who has re-read this book three times! I won't lie and will admit that my main reason for reading the first time was strictly because of the cover model. :-) However, I LOVED this story - I love the MC genre and this did NOT disappoint. The fiercely protective nature of the club, the strong, alpha male members, and the introduction of the highly scarred female characters were on point. The story had so many elements of fate, of good back story/flashbacks and HOT, gritty sex! Blade is the president of the MC club and he is such a deeply driven character. I felt his need to protect those close to him through each chapter, and the relationship between Blade and Six was phenomenal! The magnetic pull that each had toward the other and the complete feeling that they were "meant to be" followed throughout. The development of not only the main characters, but those in the background as well had me hooked and desperately wanting more. This is the start of a series that I can't wait to dive in for more. GIVE US MORE!

Well 3 1/2 I guess. I am conflicted on this one. The storyline was good and kept me interested. The plot twist was a twist, but after the reveal the book went from 0 to 100 in four pages. It seemed like the ending was rushed and then ended.

Tori aggravated me. Tori was someone who was so traumatized but she offered to take her clothes off in front of strangers and bartend nude or just screw a complete stranger multiple times in one night. Hey I am all for taking what you want, but she just seemed trashy to me. She also let him have sex with her without a condom. If he had banged as many woman as he says why would you let him. Oh yeah pulling out and spraying all over the girl is like so hot....not.

Blade went from being tough to being sweet in seconds. He trashed talked woman saying they were whores, but got upset when other guys did the same. He was a huge contradiction.

I will read the next.

Yeah.... What the hell am I supposed to read now? I loved it. I lived that Evan isn't a typical MC dude just out for money and he is helping the underdogs, albeit in a very unconventional way. Piper is the FREAKING BEST, I love her personality! And what is there to say about Tori, she is a strong woman who came from a broken little girl. She rose from the crap and survived the best she could, never forgetting the man who saved her. I think I'm going to read it again actually cause I cannot stop thinking about it.

Sexy

That writing from Hilary Storm. This book holds your attention the page one to the very last word. I could not put it down. Blade and Tori together is a whirling tornado of past history, present complications that whirl together and gather it all and does it out for them to deal with it all. Sexually they literally combust when together ❤. The cover of Dylan Horsch is magnificent and Hilary has taken the cover and used elements into the book while describing Blade. You have to read this book.

It was ok

I liked it but it was no where near as good as the authors other series. I loved the rebel walking series, one of my favorites. The storyline had promise, but fell a little short. I'm still deciding if I want to continue with seven.

Hilary Storm is a new author to me, and I decided to try her MC series out prior to meeting her. She asked that I give a honest review since we spoke in length about how she arrived at a MC book.

I only gave this a 3 star because several things were lacking for me and this could be just me but I don't think so.

History, I think we needed a bit more history ... Blade spoke of Tex as his father although we knew he wasn't and how they met came way to late in the book for me, also questioning how he could turn over the MC to him without letting him know more of what they were about while he was President (Tex) ...it was as if Blade was blind sided at a time he didn't need to be.
Blade and Six rarely communicated to each other even during sex there wasn't a lot of anything they just had it and went on. Sort of reminded me of how members treat the club whores, fuck them and go on. Although in Blades mind he was wondering yet didn't speak much to Six with his wondering.
Communication it seemed lacking between him and the other members of the MC besides orders. There was no usual type banter, even when things are dark and they are on missions there is always time for more communication between the members.
Members tell a brief story that introduces us to them, I was left wondering a bit more about some of the members than the story.
It was mentioned the club was on different paths but what paths? How / Why did they purchase apartment buildings? What was their main source of income, yes i know the bar but for the money they were talking about they didn't state how they made it.
I know I seem picky but that is what I expect out of a story line, the why's, how's, what for things...tell me the story with them. I know each member usually has their own story, with their own dark secrets but normally you are given a hint at what they are, not the entire thing just hints.

Oh I will read others of Hilary Storm as I already purchased them and I am onto Seven, I'm sure she will get better and better with each MC story she writes. I'll stick around for those :)

Six {Blade & Tori's story}

::: Possible Spoilers Ahead! :::

This is my 1st Hilary Storm book, I've read the 2 book series she co-wrote with Victoria Ashley & I loved it so I decided to give her books a try. And I can honestly say that I'm glad that I gave her a chance because I really enjoyed reading this book. I really liked Blade's Alpha personality, he was so strong, and caring, when it came to the people in his life or to weaker ppl who couldn't stand up for themselves. He had a rough childhood along with his baby sister Poppy and did what he could to protect her. Even though he was just a kid himself at the time. They were separated by the state & when they reunite in their adult years he knows its time to make up for lost time. The problem is he becomes intrigued by her best friend/roommate on 1st glance. Something about her draws him in and it's not until later that he realizes that he knows her. They're from opposite sides of the world yet they are so drawn to each other. They have both been through so much and they deserve love and happiness and who better than one another. I was glad to see them get their own HEA.
Only thing I didn't care for was how Blade was so careless and was being se*ually with any random girl without protection!? I know after a while the main characters will eventually do it without but he did it with her and everyone else without it. I know it's a MC book and they all do each other but most of the books I've read are always sure to wrap it up. Especially when it comes to the club wh*res and random hook-ups. Either way I still recommend this book and the rest of the series. It's pretty fast passed and straight forward. A pretty quick and good read.

📚💕⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💕📚

This intense, dirty and oh so hot read was incredibly hot hot hot. So many feels but so worth the night I didn’t sleep because I kept reading into the night.

Authors Blurb: Blade Montgomery takes shit from no one. He's a leader. He's a fighter. He's the President of an MC. His nature to take care of others precedes his will to do anything for himself. He's a protector. He's a no nonsense kind of guy with the sexual appetite of a beast.

Tori Douglas is an independent woman who doesn't need a man. She finally has her life on track to move forward and the last thing she needs is a bad guy to mess it up. She's sassy. She's sexy. She's strong and she'll have the men begging to have a chance with her, but none of them will.

I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

❤️🌼🔥I LOVE ALPHA, TATTED, SEXY BOSSY MEN, AND BLADE SAVES SIX MORE THAN ONCE...❤️🌼🔥
I love books set within an MC....I love the alpha males, I love the way when they love someone, they go all in...even before they “claim” their women.. and I love that although this MC is on the “Outlaw” side of the spectrum, they still have a code by which they live...no hurting women or children, etc.” Hilary Storm knows how to write an MC story....❤️🌼🔥
Blade finds a little girl, being traumatized 15 years before the events of this book take place...and he “takes care” of her abuser...He is 18 and she is only 6...thus the name of the book...As she is in shock and frightened, her age is all she can manage to tell him, at the time, so that’s what he calls her...SIX...but he saves her from the hands of this demented abuser, and he never looks back...❤️🌼🔥
Fast forward 15 years, Hot, tattooed, badass with a take-no-prisoners attitude, and now MC President, Blade, has a little sister, Piper and she and her best friend, Tori, are in trouble, and during his fight to keep them both safe, he realizes Tori is in fact Six...It appears she has known it was him since she first saw him...❤️🌼🔥
Blade and Six are two broken souls who find each other, see themselves in one another, and realize through all of the years that have passed, they have never forgotten each other, only now, as adults, a love and fire ignites between them....REALLY IGNITES!!! My only problem is this book is that it wasn’t long enough...I could have read so much more about Blade and Six...❤️🌼🔥
SIX is a good book...I love the characters, I love the premise, and I hope there is a sequel...Piper deserves her own book, too...❤️🌼🔥

The prologue introduces us to a boy who saves a 6 year old girls life... fast forward 15 years later, and Evan (Blade) who is president of the MC meets Tori (who is roommates with his sister Piper).... while they may not figure it out right away, I feel like we were supposed to know it was her, especially with the tattoo of SIX on her.

This book is HOT. Evan and Tori both have a hard past and yet when they are together there is a sweetness about them. They thought it was a physical attraction, but there was just something there that drew them to the other...little did they know at the time about their past. I loved that Evan always tried to do the right thing and he was all about saving kids from abuse.

We get some great twists and turns and I loved the realization from those said events, I never would have guessed it BUT I wish we had more meaningful stuff between Blade and Six, while the sex was hot, that felt like at times it was all it is.

I do love Tori and Piper's relationship. I loved seeing Piper and Evan trying to mend their relationship from their time apart, I love Evan and his relationship with his MC. So many great pieces.
