Compares a variety of objects to others with the same shape, such as bubbles and scoops of ice cream, bricks and ice cubes, and bicycle wheels and pizza.
Simple and easy read almost similar to “Let’s fly a kite” and talking about shapes and how shapes make up everything we see around us at all times. It shows how we can see squares, circles, triangles and even a few 3D structures from the book in the real world such as our glass of water or boxes and more. Illustrations in the book made it very easy to see what was being talked about throughout the book and would be great for student that are in 1st and 2nd grade.
This is a great book for children who are learning their shapes and colors. Each page is filled with big, fun illustrations featuring a different shape that the child reading is supposed to identify. This could be used in an early education classroom or a therapy room for children who need more practice on recognizing their shapes and colors. Otherwise, this would be most appropriate for children in grades pre-k through kindergarten.
