Madison Helm was excited to spend the summer in Alaska. Her father had a new job at the Twisted Pine Fishing Lodge. She had never seen an ocean, now she lived in a house that floats on one. Life at a remote fishing lodge was not what Madison expected. No internet, barely phone service. Madison missed her friends. At least she was only staying for the summer. Or was she? Madison becomes lost on Black Bear Mountain, she is alone and injured. A creature from legend saves her life. When a hunter learns about her benefactor, he will stop at nothing to find the animal.
