When Eric finds a mysterious letter written twenty years before he was born, but describing events from his own life, his simple existence as a normal high school English teacher once again takes a bizarre turn into the weird. Book 5 in the Rushed series. Some adult content. About 140,000 words.
Brian Harmon is an independent author of horror fiction, suspense and dark adventure. He grew up in Missouri and currently lives in Southern Wisconsin with his wife, Guinevere, and their three children.
Eric and Hector's adventure into the past, present, and future is fascinating. Between the curiosity, the drama unfolding, the close calls, and the characters, this is a book I would recommend reading.
Slightly supernatural aspect balanced with humor makes this series fun to read. The characters quickly become your friends and you can't help but follow them into their next adventure
This series by Brian Harmon is gripping and intense. Each book takes you on a new adventure with the same main characters. I absolutely love this and highly recommend reading it. I can’t wait to read the next one!!!
I have been a lover of Brian Harmon books since I read the first one. Now...after reading the most recent....A Matter of Time.....I continue to be a fan. Keeps you reading long after you should be sleeping. It was great to see new characters...knowing that we will meet them again in future books. Each book gives you enough background that you aren't lost if you've never read the Rushed series before. Keep on writing...and I thank you. Best Christmas gift to myself ever!
I really liked the first few books in the series. I thought they were quirky and imaginative but the last two books were not as good. The stories are not as well thought and the ending s left m e wanting. I will probably still follow Eric in the hope it recaptured the funny and imaginative story I saw in the first couple books.
This was a great fifth book, it didn't seem as darkly written as the other books but was filled with topics more vile this any others in the series. I wonder if he'll start answering any of the old or new questions? Even if it takes several more books l'll remain a fan and continue reading them.
I love all of Brian Harmon's work, but for some reason this one was a little bit of a challenge for me to get through. It was slow-going, and something about Eric in this book annoyed me. Regardless, I will keep on buying Harmon's work. He is an amazing and incredibly visual author.
I do enjoy this series quite a lot, and this book was no exception. Additionally, it explained the one problem with book two (Rushed: The Unseen), and brought some interesting new characters into the series who might make reappearances in the future.
This is the 5th book of this series. Eric finds a mysterious letter written 20 years before he was born, but describing events from his own life. His life a High School English Teacher takes another bizarre turn into the weird.
This is my second read through this one. I love how this connected to other books in the series. Karen finally going on an adventure, living for it. Even if it turned out how it did. My favorite parts to read were Hector's letters though.
