Tasha Roeper knows what it means to protect your own. So when her friend, Dot Lapahie, CEO of Lapahie Enterprises, suspects that the Free Wolves are under attack, Tasha immediately signs on to lead the investigation and guard Dot.
But Tasha's not convinced it's the Free Wolves that are the target. She fears that her own pack—the Fairwood Pack—are the actual quarry and Dot is only a decoy.
The deeper Tasha digs, the more puzzles she uncovers.
Torn between tradition and a changing world, will Tasha risk everything to save a friend—including her own life—when old enemies arise?
It's so good to see the characters again from Wolve's Pawn. Wolve's Knights is a wonderful book. Tasha is a kick ass heroine that you can’t help but love. The characters are well developed and interesting. And the dialogue is fantastic. This is a fresh and intriguing story that I highly recommend.
this novel was between a 3 and a 4 for me, but definitely closer to a 4... it was cute, well paced and dropped enough debits about Mark (Elder Fennar/may be spelling wrong) for me to be rooting for Tasha to hook up with him, way before I actually knew if he was actually in the running... (nothing explicit for those faint of heart)
the beginning is a little rough, well written but I turned back multiple times to see if I had missed a prologue or something... but after the first few paragraphs the story takes off... knowing that I have the most trouble writing my own first page, I continued and enjoyed the read...
This book is the third in a series but the author assured me it could be read as a stand-alone, which is how I read it.
True to her word, though there were references to stories from the other books but the author included enough information for you to understand what was happening.
That being said, this book follows a she wolf, the tough as nails Tasha. This character spoke to me being a tomboy and unlucky in love.
Full of intrigue and action, you’ll love this paranormal shifter story!
Tasha Roeper is a kick ass wolf shifter whose abilities as a security and in my opinion - warrior are out matched even by the men in her pack. She is drawn into a vast conspiracy that threatens to bring down a pack that is trying to outgrow the traditional werewolf pack structure.
Tasha is hired by the head of the Free Wolves- Dot Laphaie to find out what's going on and to help protect their fledgling pack. And then add there are a couple of wolves who find this she-wolf warrior hot as hell and you get one action packed book filled with strong female characters in a genre where males usually take the lead.
I really like this book by P.J. MacLayne and recommend it if you love a shifter novel filled with fast paced action and suspense!
