Ghosts Gone Wild! Mele has hit a wall. Seeing ghosts everywhere has become too much to handle, especially since they can get downright nasty, even violent, when they want to. And just when she thinks she’ll have to get out of town to escape them… a little girl ghost follows her home. Mandy isn’t like the other, mean ghosts – she’s sad and adorable and needs help. Bebe quickly falls in love, making things even harder on Mele. There's a murder to be solved, a mystery to be revealed, and a beautiful old house to save from her boss, who wants to turn it into a skating rink. Will Mele be able to fight off the ghosts and do what's right for Mandy without breaking Bebe's heart?
This one really tugged at my heart strings, it's my favourite book of the series so far. I was on tenterhooks all the way through this book trying to figure out who the killer was. This one was the most surprising! Full of humour, full of ghosts and full of mystery. This book will leave you wanting more after every page. I feel as though I really know the characters now, and there's a few that I can relate to. If you want a short cosy story then look no further. This one is for you. #2OCCAB
The stories, the characters' development, as well as the secondary plot (in regards to the main character's past/history and such) - it's gotten old, tedious, and frustrating.
Definitely not a series I'll be continuing or re-reading.
i’m 68 and love to read romantic, mysterious novels involving ghostly people from the past still interacting with the living. J.D. Winters tells stories in such a way to keep the reader glued to the book. I also love that it is good clean writing written using inuendo rather than blatant sexuality. i’m enjoying reading this author’s series of books. You will too!!!
I'm getting really tired of Mele being a pushover. She doesn't stand up for herself. There are things she needs to know about her past that others know and won't tell her. Her aunt is seeing a man that has something against her and knows what it is and won't tell her. Her "boyfriend" is wish washy about his feelings and treats her like she is helpless.
This one was a strange one. I'm not sure that it was really solved, at least not to my satisfaction. Still wondering about the relationship between Mele and Roy, not to mention why Stone doesn't like her. Guess I need to keep reading.
