For actor Daniel Jacobs, accepting he's gay is easier than he expected. But actually acting on the attraction he's just begun to acknowledge proves more difficult. Fortunately, the very sexy Vincent Stevens is willing to introduce him to all he's been missing, but Dan's not sure a fling with his TV show's sometime-director is wise. Throwing caution to the wind, Dan seeks out what Vincent has to offer, and before he knows it, he's in over his head. When Vincent experiences a health scare, he's not sure how to take Dan's fussing. As the men start finding their way toward more, Dan realizes it will work only if they both recognize the peace they bring one another.
Kris T. Bethke has been a voracious reader for pretty much her entire life and has been writing stories for nearly as long. An avid and prolific daydreamer, she always has a story in her head. She spends most of her free time reading, writing, or knitting/crocheting her latest project. Her biggest desire is to find a way to accomplish all three tasks at one time. A classic muscle car will always turn her head and weekend naps are one of her greatest guilty pleasures. She lives in a converted attic with an aquarium full of tropical fish and the voices in her head. She’ll tell you she thinks that’s a pretty good deal.
I love this series! Kris T. Bethke delivers a great story every time.
I absolutely love Daniel and the way he navigates the feelings he's repressed for so long. I love that Vincent, even though he's the smaller of the two men the characters, is the alpha male of their relationship. I especially got the warm fuzzies by just how sweet the two were together.
My only complaint, and it’s the same one I always have with this series, is that I want more time with the characters.
This is a sweet, fluffy, no angst romance with some nice sexy times.
This whole story felt superficial, somehow I was missing character development. Add to that the introducing of another couple, MC's of the next book, so you have reason to buy that book as well. Don't like it.
