In this first English edition, Öner Döşer presents numerous powerful and ancient techniques for natal charts, focusing on the use of "time lords": planets and places which manage one's life, in order, for various amounts of time. The traditional techniques here Ptolemy's Ages of Man, triplicity periods, distributions or directions through the bounds, primary directions, profections, and firdaria. Contemporary techniques include secondary progressions, solar arcs, and transits. Of special importance is the use of several techniques together, such as transits to a solar return, or in conjunction with firdaria periods. With concluding chapters on eclipses and solar returns, Döşer provides valuable advice for using these techniques in rectification.

One half of the book is dedicated to the conventional techniques: transits, secondary progressions, solar and lunar returns. You will not find nothing especially new, in this part, probably, If you already have another books with the same themes. The exception is on the Primary Directions, because you can easily learn how to calculate them with the formulae. The other half is much more interesting to me because it's dedicated to the ancient techniques: Ptolemy ages, Firdaria, Profections, Triplicities and directing by bounds.
Some chapters are very condensed (Returns) whereas in others a few examples would have been really helpful. But the whole seems to me very useful: it's offer a lot of clear and well-organized information, very well explained all. Therefore, I think that it's good: ideal as a first general book on predictive techniques and enough to start the practice.
Attention: cool portraits of classic astrologers at the beginning of each chapter!

AstroArt okulunun bu kaynakları yaratmasını aşırı değerli buluyorum ve epey güzel üzerine bol bol not aldırtan bir kitap. Puan kırmamın sebebi iyi bir astroloji öğretme kaynağı olmaktan astrolojiye giren insanlara istediklerini verip bırakmak için yaratılmış bir kaynak kitap gibi. Serinin ilk kitabı olmak için çok ağır, astrolojiden anlamayan bir insanın girmesi çok zor.
