This TLSH follow up was Funny As Fuck.
Gary and Tiggy crash Tina's Ryan fan club meeting in disguise, a la 'Mervin'.
Loved it, but Tina should *really* refrain from writing 'erotic' Ryan and Justin fiction. *cringe* : )

This is an outrageously funny and enlightening little series short (as part of Klune’s Tales From Verania series), providing the reader with an inside look at the personal life and motivations of Sam’s teenage nemesis, Lady Tina DeSilva.
This is best read after the events of book one (The Lightning-Struck Heart), which already sets the scene and introduces all necessary characters and backstories.
It’s not as often one gets to read an antagonists POV, but I relished the experience here. Lady Tina is a bit of a nutter, that’s for sure, so controlling and hostile to practically everyone in her life. She’s so adamant that her beliefs are truth and that everyone around her should be bending to her will. And that’s not even touching on her delusional obsessions over Ryan Foxheart and his, in her opinion, one true love, Prince Justin.
The best parts, for me, were those involving The Ryan Foxheart Fan Club Castle Lockes Chapter (yes, I just capitalised that, so you know it’s important), particularly enjoying when “Larry” and “Wiggy” infiltrated the group in mastermind disguises (they wore wigs!) and when Lady Tina forced the group to sit through her raunchy Rystin fan fiction. I was tickled, to say the least.
This short was definitely fun. This bitch be cray-cray and, as Sam once so eloquently called her (to her face), she’s an abhorrent wench! Still, I enjoyed reading her POV very much—I guess you’ve got to respect her for her passion and commitment, right!?

This short story that was posted on T.J. Klune's blog has everything one expects from his writing in the "Tales From Verania" series. Lots of drama, humor, more drama and fornication with bears (ok Tina made that part up). As for me ANYTHING that gives me more Gary and Tiggy (ok in this they pretend to be Larry and Wiggy) is already a win win for me. This story puts us inside Lady Tina's head (not a pretty place to visit) as her growing anger and hate drive her to new heights of villainous behavior. I was not completely thrilled by how TJ dealt with her in book 4 and after reading this I think she belongs in a madhouse. This story was a lot of fun to read, I just wish there were more Tales of Verania to read!

This story was hilarious and fit the tone of the story and who Lady Tina DeSilva is so well! Given that I am a fangirl and fujoshi myself, trust me I have seen all of this craziness in fandoms before. Of course Lady Tina is a parody of the extreme, but that's what makes it all the more laugh out loud funny. Honestly there are some fanfictions that exist on the internet that are practically as bad as this, and especially not having inspiration from others by reading other fic fic, I'm not surprised this is what her addled 16 year old brain came up with. Also Tiggy and Gary infiltrating / spying on / attending the meeting and their comments were just brilliant!

I've had this since TJ posted it on his blog, but I've been waiting to read it because I don't know when he'll publish more from this world and I want to make it last. But I saw today that it had been added to Goodreads at some point, and that prompted me to finally read it.
Man, I laughed out loud so many times. Sooooo many times. Oh, Lady Tiny DeSilva, you slay me. I wasn't really sure what her POV would be like, but it was awesome. It's not quite like a typical outsider POV because the story really was about her, but she's so focused on Ryan and Rystin and her absolute hatred of Mervin and Sam that it was hard not to be utterly entranced. Plus, Gary and Tiggy show up and it's amazing. Oh my god, that scene, the fan fiction scene is utter, brilliant genius. I'm tearing up a little thinking about it right now, in fact, it was so hilarious and crazy.
I can't wait for more from this world. Without a doubt, TLSH was one of my favorite books of 2015—top 5, easy—and I'm sure whatever follows will be a favorite, too.

I just finished The Lightning-Struck Heart and knew there were bonus reads. This one is about crazy Tina and her Rystin fanfic, which includes daddy kink and a hospital bed. Gary and Tiggy have crashed the fan club and add their commentary during Tina's story.
This was another great story by TJ and I can't wait to read more.
