Jack Harker is a police detective haunted by a devastating past. When he moves to Shadow Lake, he makes it clear he wants nothing but work and privacy. Ivy and Jack are on a crash course for … something. They just have to solve a murder – and come to accept each other – before they can come to a meeting of the minds … and possibly hearts.

Read under another title
Apparently this book has also been released as "Ghostly Interests" and no, it's not worth rereading. I was recognizing it and getting annoyed by how blah it was at the same time. So as soon as I could get online, I looked up author in my Goodreads and found the other title with description clearly the same book. So make sure you aren't tricked into buying twice. Luckily I picked it up free.
