On an apparently routine supply run, Philip and Joy Strunk deliver a shipment of synthetic photoreceptors to Caspar Nordling, a biotechnologist for Grant Corporation. When the Strunks find out that Nordling's experiments have exceeded Stanislaw Mayakovsky's work (as seen in Hive), they realize that there's more to Nordling—and Aliens—than meets the eye.
John Arcudi has made a name for himself by scripting comics that manage to combine long-running subplots with impeccable characterization and action sequences, making for some of the most exciting and consistently good comics out today.
Wait, hold up, I'm sorry, did that xenomorph just TALK? Great, it's bad enough that these guys are capturing and making their own version of these things, but now they are giving them human emotions too. Does that mean I'm now supposed to care about these things and treat them like they are regular people, because sorry, but I'm not buying that for a second! Also, apparently there is also a big ol' Iron Man robot that's meant to exterminate the captured xenomorphs if they get out of hand and........ what the fuck am I reading, dude? I'm only one issue in, and I am already baffled by the things I am seeing in here....... that means this is gonna be good.
