Written in 3rd Person I didn't feel that connected to the characters, which usually happens when the story's written in 3rd Person.
I like how the story started, but I wasn't very fond of the writing style and I skipped... a lot. I like the drama but it was light and I wasn't very attached to the story itself....
For starters Annie makes to much out of nothing . The author could have given her more heart. One minute she is in love but wants nothing from Jack. Yet she wants his all and she gives nothing in return. I grew tired of her unnecessary drama.
I had purchased this book a while ago but never read it. Well, i'm glad I decided to read it. It was very enjoyable once Annaya stopped listening to what everyone had to say about Jack and made her own decisions about she and Jack. Jack also grew...he was no longer the wild playboy he was made out to be. I would love to see someone give the heroine a strong backbone to stand up to the ex girlfriend. All in all it was a very good book and I would recommend it to be read.
You know what they say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. This is a story about a friend going to celebrate her friends bachelor party in Vegas. She started flirting with the man from across the room . This was not one of Mrs. Love greatest book for me. Was a little drawn out for me.
This is my first book by this author. So Jack and Annie were a weird couple. one minute they had to have each other the next I'm leaving. Annie being a strong and independent woman was good but then at some point you need to get out of your own way. Talk about communication is the key to a successful relationship.
It felt to many things or weeks had been skipped in the book. I don't know if it was for time or to keep it within a certain amount of pages. The story wasn't bad. The writing wasn't bad either. It just felt rushed, or to many time gaps. Now with that being said. Would I buy and read another book by Kimmy Love?I probably would. Like I said it wasn't bad writing, or a bad story at all.
I really enjoyed the story and the integrity of Annie. Why I rated a 3 was due to bad structure using wrong names and little errors in time lines. I am not a grammar nut but this bugged.
This was a sweet book. I loved reading it. Some parts dragged a bit but I still enjoyed the book. I loved that "Annie" was both strong and independent and Jack stepped up
Aside from forgetting characters' names, typos, and a general lack of editing, this book has 2 major issues. The first is that I don't think this author has ever been to America or even heard an American speak... ever. I get sometimes it can be hard to use a different country's linguistics, but if you are going to base a story in a different nation with characters from that nation, it is important to do your research and actually use the right terminology, linguistics, and make sure you are culturally correct. The second issue is that there was potential here, but it was never even remotely close to getting there. It's just bad. It's poorly written, it doesn't delve into the characters, nothing is particularly believable, the sex scenes are agonizingly boring, there are so many plot holes this book is like Swiss cheese, and it's just genuinely not good. I 0/10 reccomend. If you told me this was written by AI, I'd believe you.
Starting with the beginning of the book and the h and H are calling each other by name internally when they haven’t even met yet. Am I the only one that sees this as an issue? If it were the one instance, then I can see that as a mistake, but it’s happened twice within 2 pages. Also, the way the story keeps jumping… is a bit daunting. As someone who suffers squirrel moments on the regular, it’s not something I want to read. Having to go back here and there to make sure I am reading the characters and such correctly takes away from the story line. And lack there of.
I loved how there was a lot of dimension to the personalities of the characters. The only thing I would have liked to have seen in the end was that she was going to have another baby because I think siblings are a must
This book is amazing it kept me interested from the first paragraph. I loved that they didn't get married because she was pregnant. She wanted true love and she found it.
I loved this story and couldn’t put it down. Felt a bit short for my liking. But the story was full of up and down between Jack and Annaya which I love. As it shows what real relationships are like and also love how it shows the difference between their statuses.
A wonderful story about a man with so much money that begs the age old question "what makes me happy"? Jack discovers the right woman, love and a family easily eclipse the vices of his former life.
Annie and Jack were such a sweet love story, but it wasn't edited well as I caught a couple mistakes, myself. The end seemed rushed, but ultimately was the fairy tale.
