Christina is abducted while doing her art homework.

The vampires have been searching for a specific girl.

Kai, Nicholas, Dante, Alucard, Rem.

The bits with Kai are actually nice. And the shock reveal is…good.

But the abrupt ending? 👎🏻

Typos. Weird formatting. POV shifts are like a remedial English class; we get the thoughts of whoever’s speaking.

Chubby girl protagonist. YA / mid-grade style. Even the vampires have recycled names from her other supernatural books. 😔

It’s as if the author took her catalog of work, smooshed it together, then asked a computer to randomly choose a story that’s an amalgamation of everything she’s ever released.

This was a bit more YA than I was expecting. That's not a bad thing, as I enjoy good YA, however, for some reason I was expecting a more adult tone.
Cute story, one that could have definitely been expanded into a full book.
Better than Twlight, better than Vampire Diaries, so not a bad 5 minutes spend.

A short story about a girl taken hostage by a group of vampires in a mansion. They think she's the one they've been looking for and she's determined to get out. Loved the characters. Interesting, strong female main with a bunch of overbearing male vampires. A bit reminiscent of an otome.
