I have been looking toward to the final conclusion to the MacKinnon Legacy. My overthinking noggin was left wondering of what the outcome would be for these beloved characters. But thankfully J.A. Templeton has eased my mind and made me a very happy reader. Things pick up right where we they left in book one with Maddy controlling her psychic abilities, trying to find justice for Haven's sisters' murder, now that killer is on the loose and possibly after her. It's certainly hectic and scary, but in the face of danger Maddy is courageous.

"You are the bravest girl I know. I can't imagine what it's like to see the things you do. " ~ Haven

Of course Maddy is never alone in her quest, her friends are right by her side each step of the way. Which brings me to Shane and Haven, who are gorgeous, passionate, and caring. Both of these guys are wonderful and have amazing chemistry with Maddy, but I just knew who was perfectly right for her and the one who has been there all along.

" I craved to be close. To share everything." ~ Maddy

Along the way J.A. Templeton threw in a curve ball that I did not see coming. I felt nervous for the characters during the final show down, thought I couldn't have predicted what ended up occurring. It was quite sad, but I did find it a little bit rushed. Aside from that I found the ending very fitting and it was so nice to see that Maddy reached a happy place in her life, and with a new guardian by her side.

I liked it

Enjoyable and quick read. I think it was worth my time. Thanks for the entertainment and interesting characters. Others may find it short and lacking , but I had run reading it.

Arthur did a great job on ending everything. Nothing was left for questioning everything had closure. I didn’t like how this one got more darker than any other book in a scary demonic kind of way almost. But still enjoyed the read for not being able to put the book down

I am really enjoying J.A. Templeton books, especially The MacKinnon Legacy series. I purchased this book less then a minute after I finished book 1 (The Uninvited), although I only read a chapter before I noticed I had better get some sleep. This book really let my imagination loose, allowing me to picture everything in great detail. Great read and I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did.

The Forgotten by J.A. Templeton is the breathtaking conclusion to The MacKinnon Legacy Series. This incredible novel follows Maddy as she deals with the consequences of finding Jaime's body with Jaime's brother Haven and Maddy's friend Shane. The Forgotten has more paranormal action with a deeper mystery unfolding.
The characters are still gripping and realistic with depth. Wonderful depth. The pace was perfect and answered my questions without leaving any loose ends.

I'm soo sad this is the last book following the Mackinnon Curse & Legacy series! )': these books will always be lingering in my thoughts. I'm glad it talked about how Riley and the others end up many years later so there's no guessing what did happen and actually knowing now. Especially liked how Riley even had 2 chapters back in her point of view. J.A Templeton, being sensitive, I will always respect your work in these books.

Who could possibly not like this book? It is a page turner and Madison is always up to something! She keeps us on our toes, and scares us half to death sometimes! J. A. Templeton is such a talented author and keeps you wanting more! I couldn't give this book, or any other books by her any rating less than a 5!

Good ending

I was sad about the end of the book. This book was creepy but not as creepy as laria though. I love shane, haven and Taylor, also glad Riley and Made made an appearance. I hope there is going to be one more book.

Fun read

Although I enjoyed reading these two books, I feel like there could have been more. Books don't usually spook me. This series did a little bit, which was a pleasant surprise. I could probably reread these in the future.
