4 stars for The Queensbay Series - books 1-3. All three books have lots of mouthwatering food, fun and small town ties.

The first book was good. Good enough that I would have purchased the second one, if this wasn't a box set. However, it just went downhill from there. Book 2 was so frustrating. Her entire work life was tumbling down around her, and she was like "Oh, well.. I'll call/do/talk to that person later". The 3rd was just the same. The romance wasn't really developed, and the characters didn't really flow well. I also didn't like that the characters from the first books didn't appear in the later books. For example, Darcy, the heroine from book one, who I really liked, is best friends with the heroine from book 2. In book 1, they get together to gossip, talk, help each other, and have girls' nights. In book 2, Caitlyn states that Darcy is just an old friend. They never get together...even when Caitlyn could use some girl talk.

Loved them all! These stories blend so well with each other! Wean and Darby, Caitlyn and Noah and Chase and Phoebe all have rocky starts but their stories all have great development of the story and characters. I can't wait to read the other stories in this series!
