After suffering a devastating miscarriage, Sarah Hinze was driven to know: Where did we come from before we were born? The answers she found during more than two decades of research confidently affirm that we lived with God before birth, and that each of us is given a unique mission in life that only we can fulfill. In her research, Hinze was privileged to hear a story from a man who, during a near death experience, was shown aborted souls who would have been his children. Amazed, Hinze put the account to the back of her mind and walked away. But the seed was planted. A new question burned within her: What happens to the soul of an aborted baby?
The Castaways: Real-Life Accounts of Aborted Souls shares the inspiring and deeply moving answers Hinze discovered about the fate of souls cast away by abortion. Beautifully written and awe-inspiring, this remarkable work brings hope and healing to all those who have suffered from the effects of abortion. Come, and meet the castaways.
"The Castaways: Real-Life Accounts of Aborted Souls provides deeply moving 'spiritual evidence' which witnesses the beautiful reality of our eternal nature, and the connection between our actions on earth and their effects beyond this life. This work powerfully affirms women's spiritual and intuitive capacities, and the strong spiritual connection between parent and child." -- Carolina Allen, founder of Big Ocean: Women for Faith, Family, and Motherhood
"We have learned much about death and the life after. Sarah Hinze leads us into the next great area of research-the study of where we come from." -- Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, M.D., Psychiatrist and author of On Death and Dying
"The Castaways adds a new dimension to the entire field of books about life before birth by providing compelling evidence that babies in the womb can feel pain and rejection, sometimes resulting in traumatic memories after birth. The Castaways is a life-changing book with the potential to be a world-changing book." -- John P. Pratt, Ph.D.
"I have always believed that abortion is much more than just a choice. This fascinating book details how abortion effects not only women, but the children they choose not to bear." -- Dr. Richard G. Wilkins, Professor of Law and Director, The World Family Policy Center (The Castaways, 2000)"
Interesting ideas on what happens to aborted, miscarried, or otherwise lost children. It gives hope to couples that can't conceive that one day they may be able to. An interesting read and I agree that abortion is murder. I have no idea when the spirit enters the body and this book does not answer that question but it does discuss that each of us has a plan and when our bodies are killed by anything other than normal natural causes it has negative effects.
This book carries a beautiful message of hope and eternal love through such traumatic loss. If every woman considering an abortion would read even just one of the accounts in this book, millions of babies would be saved. Thank you Sarah for writing such an inspiring work!
Wonderful, inspiring and encouraging. This book confirms what I know in my heart to be true. It is one I want to re-read many times. God has used it to help me forgive myself and my Mother with whom I had a very stormy and destructive relationship. I kept telling her that "I am your SENSITIVE CHILD"; she never got it. I have had a severe problem with rejection and fear of abandonment my whole life; NOW I can easily understand why. That script apparently began before I was born and kept repeating over and over. Now I can grow past it.
Such a good book! So insightful and thought-provoking. I think everyone should read this. It’s a short and quick book full of great meanings that all should know.
Definitely read if you are a mother or have had an abortion or are open to abortions.
