In "Progatory," their boundless determination led to the ultimate fight for freedom, as the underground resistance movement clashed with the One World Government in an all-out war.
Now in 2039, Camille and Peter find themselves broken and bloodied, struggling to pull their group together and mourn their fallen friends, but unwilling to give up the struggle, no matter what the cost.
Meanwhile, in 2174, the powerful elite have gained control over millions of memories and minds, lending an even more sinister twist to government corruption and greed. But when a daring idea gives birth to unexpected alliances, the members of the future resistance find themselves with new hope of bringing peace to their land once again-through methods much more sophisticated than the brutality of war.
You've seen their fight for liberty against the clutches of regime control. Now, in the captivating final installment of the Progtopia Trilogy, two groups of underground fighters make their mark on two separate timelines in a world torn apart by violence and corruption-and most of all, prove that redemption is always possible in the face of true remorse.

I went back and re-read the two before this one in the series when this one hit Amazon Kindle, so I'm not sure of the start date. I wanted to have fresh memories of the major characters.
In between starting this series and finishing it, I actually went back and read The Hunger Games trilogy - a similar dystopia theme but each has its own cast on HOW the world devolves, and how it is redeemed.
Yet, I had bonded with the characters in this one, and enjoyed getting back with them. Thatcher and Jake, Camille and Peter, two love stories in parallel as people with shared desires for not just themselves but for their society move them forward.
For a woman who grew up with George Orwell's 1984 being "scandalous" if taught in school, this series takes the conspiracy theories, the fears of today's generation, the technologies of today, and projects it into the not too distant future, similar to what Orwell did in the 1940's! Very interesting take on things.
The fact that this a trilogy creates an entire new aspect to this book. The anticipation of what is to come next is exciting. Seeing the characters evolve over a period of time is interesting. The ending was intriguing and keeps you wondering what happened. I am sad to see the trilogy end but I have decided to binge read all 3 books since they are engrossing. The mental imagery is vivid because the words are flowing. I literally had to think the other day if I saw a movie about this trilogy because of the strong mental imagery. I hope this is not the last we will read of Eula McGrevey's storylines. What spooked me the most is the similarities of this trilogy and our world today. It's like 1984 was laughed at and now we live it. Scary
This individual book is simply the exclamation point of an amazing thrill ride starting with the first one in the series.
Couple of points (NO spoilers in my review): -You probably cannot pick up this 3rd book and expect to know where some of the characters have been and what they have been through. This is noticeable with some of the flashbacks and characters going through some thinking sequences. Basically, the entire series could fit together as a huge novel, but most people wouldn't go for a 750+ page book. -You can definitely binge read the entire series. The first one and second one leave you on the edge of the cliff, but then the following book thankfully rescues you and keeps pulling you forward. For those of us who have been struggling to read one book release at at time, we know the pain. HA. For those that are reading this review now, and are binge reading addicts--go after this series as you won't be disappointing! -It has a mix of '1984', 'The Hunger Games', and 'Atlas Shrugged', with a 'The Walking Dead' approach to characters and how characters make choices. You find yourself yelling at the characters and saying: "WHAT?!?...please tell me you did not just do THAT!?!" or "What a minute, did that just happen?" -This is FICTION, however, it is close enough to our current situation in the world that it actually makes me nervous and scared a little. That makes a book powerful and entertaining for me. I can read an encyclopedia (for those old school folks who know what those are) or a text book and my bodily reaction is neutral. A trashy novel or some science fantasy or fantasy book MAY move the needle a little bit, but probably won't leave an impression for more than 5 minutes. Reading this series actually gave me a nervous lump in my stomach while I was reading and for many evenings after. That makes it an awesome book/series when you get that feeling! That is the point of a "good story"; it engages you and leaves you with questions or motivates you to some type of action. You leave a different person than when you started. This series does that.
This series attacks your brain and your thinking from many angles. Highly worth the adrenaline rush that comes with it!
Eula McGrevey is an excellent writer. Her books are not only action-packed and exciting, they are also thought provoking and give the reader a lot to sort out. I raced through this book to get to the end and see what happens, but I am thinking about starting the trilogy over to really think about why it all happened in the first place!
