A quick, 50 page read that is a love letter to any loved love. Leave it in their door, under their pillow, etc The majority of the contributors are former vets - men and women who bravely contributed and were injured & subsequently left with a crippling opiate addiction. We are spreading the word on this non-narcotic leaf that carries so many benefits that they can't be listed. This book is being spread as it's a message "There IS hope!" - directly from the contributors. Even the very telling cover art was donated by a former addict...it speaks volumes. Written by Ex-Pill Addicts - "From the HEAVENS!! The Kratom Bible" is not a book report on the different regions where this mystery leaf grows, etc. This book is a straightforward plea to the reader to use this "divine" leaf to assist in the attempt to get them or a loved-one off of pain pills. This book will read like it was written by a group of friends who care - because that is exactly the case. "Dr. Kratom" spent over a year collecting stories, separating fact from fiction and collaborating with actual pain pill addicts from all walks of life to bring together a potent handbook to cover what doctors are now calling "more effective in eliminating withdrawal than methadone". Priced to sell (jokingly referred to in the book as less than the price of a single street pain pill) and written to work, The Kratom Bible could really be the book that "saves" in so many ways!
This book does provide a good summary of the plethora of information available online however, that's not why I chose to read this book. Based on the title, I expected this book to provide information on how to switch from opiates to Kratom (or at least give examples of how others titrated, with specific dosages, strains etc.). Incongruent with the title, this book does not contain any information like this whatsoever, only making statements indicating that Kratom is a good tool to prevent opiate withdrawal.
I read the other books on this topic first, for information. Being prescribed medication for chronic pain is becoming a political fiasco, no longer governed by medical professionals. Even people not "addicted" are dependent and weaning is being done too fast or not at all. We desperately need an alternative to pain meds, help with detox, and yup, help for the addict. This book is eye opening honest, informative, funny (thank you!!) and truly helpful. It explains things about addiction I could never put into words. If you are considering Kratom and/ or concerned about opioid use I recommend you read this.
Kratom has revolutionized health and wellness. People have been using it for years for its therapeutic effects. In my opinion, opms kratom shots are the most popular way to use this herb. It is a great way to get a boost of energy and mood. The most important thing is to buy real kratom. Ask whether it was harvested correctly, in what conditions it was stored. What was his technique of manufacture. In order for you not to make a mistake in your choice, when buying, work with reliable and trusted suppliers.
Good book on Kratom to start with. I believe that there are others as well but this one is straightforward and to the point. Very helpful for new to Kratom. It saved my son… and to this day I will forever feel thankful.
Just what I needed after reading about Kratom on Reddit when searching for how to beat opioid addiction and withdrawals for good! I am going to try and I feel great now and am actually excited bc it seems like Kratom may actually be something that can help me!
No real information in this book. Useless facts from google!! Not impressed with the authors ramblings.. Just the author talking about their drug addiction..
I have had 2 knee replacements, 2hip replacements and have spinal stenosis and osteoarthritis throughout my whole body. My docs wouldn't give me hardly anything for pain because I was an alcoholic (recovering). I drank because I hurt. Never hung out at bars or partying. I drank in my late 40s and I am 78 now and they finally prescribed oxycodine. My daughter introduced me to kratom and I would rather take the kratom because I am able to focus and it doesn't make me feel groggy at all. I have taken kratom for about 3 years and I use the toss and wash with grapefruit juice mostly. I don't take the oxycodine everyday, because the kratom seems to lessen the need to and I feel like a normal person! Loved the book because I think it will help people to understand that pain is one reason to take it and it doesn't make you goofy.
