Another good book in this series. Time and time again proves how powerful love is between a mother and her child. I was shocked to learn news about Vesta but when I thought about it; it really shouldn't have been so surprising. This series hooked me from book 1 as I have witnessed all the chaos in the characters lives but watching them preserve and keep their bond strong has been a strong hold for me through out this series. I hope to see at least 1 or 2 more books come with this series.

What I expected:
A tale of old women with magical powers and juvenile attitudes to normal life.

What it was:
Actually Josephine was not so juvenile at all. She is a different character than she was in Book 1, she has obviously matured (I guess that could be a pun, given her age!). And not only that, she is having a baby, who is also a wizard in his own right. The baby's father is a White Knight and a member of the wizard council. Oh and alien AI are planning on overtaking planet earth with only the White Knights potentially able to stop them.
Treachery and intrigue abounds in this book. Suspect everyone, and hope to goodness that the White Knights prevail! Can they trust the AI's daughter, or will she lead them into her father's grasp?!

I think that the writing style has improved over the course of the series. I found this book easier to read than Book 1, and consequently more enjoyable. I feel more able to recommend this book to others who like this genre of magical fiction.

I received an e-ARC of this novel from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Beautiful green-eyed people eke out yet another win against evil!

I continue to enjoy these books, despite editing errors, somewhat stilted dialog, and recurring last minute chance rescues. I was a little surprised at the lack of donut references in this one, but I'm sure it was just an oversight. Anyway, we still have plenty of bad guys out there, plus there's that crystal skull that Josephine took on the ship that sort of got forgotten, so I'm looking forward to whatever Mr. O'Riley has planned for the next installment. Keep 'em coming, John!

Good Read

This story is good though it could of done with being longer as it seemed to be short to me I liked this one but am hoping that their will be another book in the series as this has an ending as such but feels like there is more to come as a fan of the series I liked this book but felt a little lacking near the end of the book. Any one who has others in this series I recommended getting this one to continue the story of Mark, Josephine, Helen, Alice and Perry

Sorry to have reached the last of this series. Are there more to come? Great book and great series!Josephine, Mark, Perry, Helen, and Alice really get involved in the defense of earth and the earth collation. All the while trying to understand and control their new powers. Will they finally defeat ludovic and his AI's? Great story and a fantastic page turner. Enjoy this series
