Kat Nichols was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. The youngest of four children, she'd been known to play for hours with only a cardboard box for entertainment. Her imaginary friends had friends... and family... and even little cities to play in. As she grew older, she began to put some of these stories down on paper, rather than keeping them in her head.
Writing a novel had always been a dream for her, perhaps an item on her bucket list, but it wasn't until she joined a writing group with other aspiring writers that she finally got to work. When not writing, Kat is reading or driving her son to and from practices and wishing she was reading. It depends on the day.
Kat still lives in the suburbs of Chicago with her wonderful husband, their hilarious son and their sometimes adorable and sometimes annoying cat, Ozzie.

4.5 stars -- You know what I really enjoyed about this little holiday novella? It wasn't just a fabulous epilogue to the first two books in this series (though there was that), it actually had a bit of action and suspense too!! And some sorrow...:( So we not only got to check in with Sophia and get some more Sydney fun and delicious Connor time (mmmm....perfect amount of kissing).... But we also got a bit of a side plot that hinted at things to come in future books in the series!! So if you're looking for some paranormal holiday goodness, definitely check this book out -- though you will be lost if you haven't read the first two books in the series (and there would be spoilers), so if you haven't checked out those books, I highly recommend you go snag them now!!

Man, this sweet little novella has made me so excited for what is to come with Kat Nichols' Society series! It was the perfect mix of action, Christmas, sorrow, mystery, and friendship. I enjoyed seeing how Sophia has grown into her position and responsibilities, but most of all I loved seeing her with Connor and his family.

This was a little dull.... I feel like we didn't get much info on what happened with the vampire hunters..... Then it skipped to this cheery little Christmas bit..... It was cute, but not what i wanted.
