Clockwise: The Rising Dawn

Latchkey Tales is a journal of short stories and poetry. Each edition contains five original stories, and three poems. The writing and cover art is sourced from talented but little known authors and poets. Editions come out every two months. The journals run on theme cycles. Each journal is themed, and each year's (6 journals) themes are connected. 2015's Cycle is Clockwise, and December's edition is titled The Rising Dawn.

About the author

Jax Goss is a streamer, editor, and writer. She is the human behind The Patchwork Raven, and spends a lot of time on Twitch and Discord making up stories and worlds with a bunch of RPGers. She is also the Mum behind the child who invented Wolfenoot.

She is a wandering South African who seems to have settled in New Zealand. She currently lives in Hamilton with her partner, three kids and a menageries of animals.

Jax has edited and compiled a number of anthologies, and her short stories have been published in several others.

She won a Highly Commended Prize in the Commonwealth Short Story Writing Competition for her short story Icarus in 2011.
