Cash rules everything around me, but better known as C.R.E.A.M. is what 18-year-old Ebony Haynes had to quickly learn to live by. The night of her high school graduation Ebony, was thrown to the cold street of Opelousas, Louisiana, when she decided to go toe to toe with her mother and lost! This was an okay read for me. Simple, easy and interesting enough. Ebony was a character I neither disliked or loved. I liked her. She had a grand hustle. She was ambitious, and determined. I liked that trait in her. Somehow it became torrid.
I wanted Malcolm to bust her but not like that. Man that hurted. Lol but hey karma is real. My only critique is that I would have loved for the writing to be more detailed and concrete. I think that would have pushed the book further and maybe a little more action between two or more characters. Other than those details it was good.

A good read
This was a good read. Ebony had it good with Malcolm, until she got greedy. Once Malcolm found out that she had ulterior motives, he snatched away her luxury and she ended up having to hustle just to survive. There's more to the story, but you have to read it to find out how things turn out for her.
