Early History: I came from a very creative family environment which valued the sciences and the arts as natural by-products of a creative, questing mind. I seem to recall lots of skate-boarding, bike riding, wooden sticks whittled into guns, fishing, camping, toy rockets, chemistry and Erector sets, broken glass mosaics, poker, tunnel forts, crystal radios, dirt clod fights, Risk, toy figures, model airplanes, Stratego, reading, reading, reading, and the ever present Mad magazine. You know... the usual.

No-so-recent History: Graduated 1979 with a Phd in Molecular Biophysics from Florida State University. Spent the next several years involved in gold dredging, tree planting, door-to-door sales -- basically anything which was outdoors.

Recent History: My time is currently spent in a kaleidoscopic scurry between writing, sculpting, game design, and consulting.

Future History: If the past is anything to go by, which I believe it is, then my future is pretty indeterminate -- at least in so far as specifics are concerned. Most likely I will be eternally involved in one form of creative project or process after another. As a physicist one learns that in order to refine an answer one must refine the question. Let's keep it simple and if you have a question don't hesitate to ask.
