This is a great book to raise and improve both physical and mental awareness when it comes to riding. There is a detailed fitness program that is especially helpful to riders who don’t get to ride as much as they would like. It details everything a rider needs to know to start to think about themselves as an athlete. I find myself performing the mental exercises over and over in my own riding, as well as referring my lesson students to this book. Most importantly, anyone’s horse would greatly appreciate them reading this book.

It really bothers me that the author just assumes that everybody can easily afford a rider board, which can only be bought on his website, and his websites address doesn't even work.

Some of the information in this book was good, although some of it was kind basic, some of it was a bit confusing, and some of it seemed to be drawn out to take as long as possible.
