Once Upon a Winters Solstice - Victoria Zac
Truly magical
Ivy Davenport' s dad was an archaeologist who spent most of the time in Scotland and when he was home he used to regale Ivy with stories of legend and myth. One particular story involving the holly and ivy and how she got her name when her parents fell in love. After an exhausting day she goes to bed and when she wakes she finds herself in bed sandwiched between two very male bodies in Medieval Scotland how the heck did that happen and more importantly WHY?
Killen MacLochlan, is Laird of MacLochlan and ruining himself in drink as he can't face life without his wife who died bearing his daughter when he's woken by his young son saying there was someone in his barn. He goes to see and finds a beautiful woman, passed out and freezing from the cold.
Ivy can't shake off the feeling that somehow she knows Killen and his children but that is impossible, or, is it.
I loved all three of these stories and I'm pretty sure you all will too, it's the perfect accompaniment for Christmas.
What a intriguing idea three stories designed off of a legend written in their personal styles and storylines. I absolutely loved all three stories.
Twelvetide by Dawn Marie Hamilton I am very familiar with this author and was excited to read another of her time travel stories. This story uses flashbacks throughout the story from both the POV of Ashley and Cael as well as time travel. There is a wee bit of murder, lots of mystery and of course my all time favorite LOVE. The story is woven in a manner that holds the readers attention to the very end.
Make sure to read my INTERVIEW of Author Dawn Marie Hamilton and my other reviews of her books located in that post.
Stars and Stones by April Holthaus Riley has a type A professional personality. Hot in a suit, busy working on his professional career and no time for a relationship. A perfect story on time travel where the author keeps you wondering what time they are in while moving the reader flawlessly back and forth. This is a lovely romance sprinkled with a little bit of mystery and danger.
Once upon a Winter Solstice by Victoria Zak Ivy is a time traveling heroine that is very sentimental about family and a mystery to Laird Kellen MacLachan. This story is about a lost love and the possibility that this love being found again. You'll have to read this heart warming story to find out though.

I absolutely loved all three stories in this bundle! Each one is based around the yuletide in Scotland. They're all time travel romances, based around an ancient folklore. All three books swept me right into the story, from the first page and I could not put this book down! I have read and loved previous work from two of these authors but Ms Hamilton was a new to me author and I cannot wait to read more of her work. Thank you, all of you for a wonderful Christmas time read! It was wonderful to sit back and travel to both past and present Scotland.
From the start you are brought in and swept away in 3 books. All well done and completely enthralling. Try as you might, you cannot rip your eyes away from these books. All are well done, story and plot. All take you on a journey you wont want to come back from. Each one of these lady's are great authors in their own right. But to have a book from each of them is even better.
Action, Mystery, Love, Myths all rolled up into three story's that will keep you wanting for more.
