Short, But Impressive

I downloaded this ebook as a document onto my kindle a number of years ago. It's been so long that I've forgotten what giveaway source I obtained it from. I'd like to thank Christopher J. Valin for the opportunity to sample his wares, and to apologize for not reading it sooner.

All three well-written short stories were entertaining in different ways.

The title story reminded me of a Guy Richie movie. It was artfully arranged around the plot points of the children's tale, The Three Pigs, and it was as light and humorous as it was violent.

The concept of Tom Petty Sucks was cleverly presented and the conclusion was unexpected and original.

Wake could easily become a full-length novel. The story felt like a too-brief introduction to an interesting character with unusual and extreme sleep disruption issues.

I want more! I didn't know what to expect going in. The stories are fantastic! But unfortunately not long enough. I hope to see some of these taken into a longer format so I can get more of the tale! :D
