Keep me, push me, claim me, forget me. Risa Kelly now knows that Hell isn’t just being forgotten by the man she loves. It’s having to pretend that nothing ever existed between them in the first place. Committed to being by Damian’s side, Risa goes through the painful charade of being his perfect PA, even though her heart cries for him to remember their love and her body craves his ruthless discipline...
But Risa can feel Damian is drawn to her, even if he believes he’s still with his ex-lover, Gretchen Smith…
Damian Black-Price wakes up to learn he’s lost the last six months of his life. Determined to keep his secrets and protect those he cares for from the shadowy underworld of his birth, Damian resumes his respectable life in New York while fighting his dangerous feelings for Risa.
But amidst endless workdays and society galas, Damian is losing against the obsessive instinct that demands he keeps Risa anyways…
NOTE: This is not a stand-alone novel. Damian and Risa’s bittersweet romance continues in “My Love Regret.”
Anna is a lover of all things dark and passionate. Living in the Southeastern United States, she enjoys antiquing, DIY thrift store finds, sedate hiking along trails, and spending time with her family and menagerie of pets. Being the only girl in a household full of men makes it hard to always be a lady, but she gives it a good old college try.
I liked the novel to the extent that it was well written. Not sure how I feel about men who lose their memories and are manipulated into believing that their ex lovers are still their current flames by everyone around them while the heroine languishes in abject misery.
I always wonder what if they take this belief a bit too far & get their ex pregnant & than eventually regain their memory. That would be a drama all of it's own ,not that this is the case here as there is no cheating even though his "mother" manipulates every player into carrying out this charade. Not sure what her final agenda is.
Be warned:the book ends in a cliff-hanger
*the creepiest thing about this book is that the hero keeps on referring to the heroine as "little girl" during intense sexual situations.
I'm reallly exasperated with everything that's going on in this book. With the memory loss, Elaine's dumbass plan and her stupid excuses. AND MORE THAN 10 CHAPTERS OF CONTINOUS SEX SCENES. In what world is that okay????
