Very thorough overview of Power BI Desktop. (It actually seems a bit padded out, to be honest.) It covers pretty much everything that you'd want to do with Power BI Desktop, but doesn't really go beyond that, so don't read this looking for a good overview of BI in general, or any of the associated products/tech like anything related to SQL Server or Azure. It's just about the Power BI Desktop tool.

Power BI Desktop is actually a pretty easy tool to pick up on your own, so you might be better off just watching a few videos and playing around with it. But if you want to know everything about it, so you can get the most out of it, then this is a good book to have.

Good start, probably the best resource out in print at this time. Helps to have a good knowledge of DAX. I am concerned that this will become stale quickly as Microsoft seems to be making changes monthly to the base program and adding new visualization templates weekly. Will get you started and is deep enough to teach you to create a high functioning dashboard.
