Lewy Olfson is the author of more than fifteen books for young people, many of them collections of plays and books about acting. His anthology "50 Great Scenes for Student Actors" (Bantam Books) remained in print for 24 years and sold more than half a million copies. His own favorites are a collection of his poems for kids, "Glimmer, Glimmer, Glumpkin," and the story "Paco and the Pizza," with charming illustrations by Richard Maccabe.Olfson's twin brother was film and t.v. actor Ken Olfson, who died in 1997.
