Now, I'm an anxious person. I didn't use to be. I think that it personally started for me when my father passed away. Ever since then, I've had severe anxiety, panic attacks, depression, and PTSD. When Mom picked up this book at Wal-Mart, I thought "Oh great. Another help book that won't begin to help me." Nevertheless, I told Mom that I would try and read it. So, I started tonight.

When anxiety strikes, everything feels out of control. You can't help but to "sweat the small stuff." Anxiety twists the truth into chaos, affecting your daily decisions, relationships, and even your faith. In this book, there are seven answers, tips, and tricks to help a person overcome their anxiety.

I couldn't put this book down. It spoke to me. I found that I'm slowly working on becoming less anxious, but I don't have enough faith to let it go and allow myself time to relax and breathe. Yet I know I'll figure it out. With God's help, I'm going to get through this. This was an incredible book that I'm sure I'll read again.

I don’t suffer from anxiety, but have family members who do. It was eye opening to read about their struggles and encouraging to think that my loved ones can find a way out. I appreciated the scripture that was included as encouragement. I have copied them down to use as prayers for those I know and love that deal with anxiety.

Omg I forgot to write a review! Ahh! So this was something I think my dad found cuz me and him have anxiety and we’re Catholic. I did an intensive outpatient program for almost a year so everything they said in here I already kinda knew. However, it gives good examples of scenarios that can make people really anxious so it would be interesting for someone without anxiety to read it so they’d understand more.

Though there were many practical steps listed to help battle anxiety, (Which is the purpose for reading this book.) I felt that the spiritual aspect is less practical for those who do not know spirituality. Or even for those who are not Christian but still have faith. Still, a very useful read for practicing mindfulness and getting on the path of an anxiety free lifestyle.
