With Smertae taking care of the invading army and Riata possessing Lady Macbeth, Cait has her hands full trying to keep her sisters to play by the rules of their arrangement.
Definitely still a series which I am really liking and so this gets a 3.5*s from me. I loved that we got a little more gruesome in this issue and that we also got to see a bit more of the witches' backstories because it's always interesting to see how the writers are going to manipulate and twist the story.
I do think that some of the pages, such as the underwater scenes, were truly captivating and the colour tones of this series always amaze me and keep me interested.
Very much looking forward to the next two issues and seeing how everything is going to be all wrapped up!
Right....maybe it would be better if I was no so familiar with the play. The sisters three are in flat out disagreement (to put it lightly) and now Lady M is drawn into the fray.....What is this modern obsession with giving bad women a kind of sympathetic or explainable backstory?? Why cannot they just be bad for badness sake? Humph. Always needs to be a reason or justification beyond......pffffft.
