I won a PDF copy of this book from a LibraryThing Giveaway in exchange for an honest review.

I entered the giveaway because I thought my 14-year-old daughter, an aspiring visual artist, would enjoy the book. Thus, this review is based on feedback from her. First, my daughter absolutely loved the cover design, and she was even happier when she saw it was also one of the drawings she could color. While viewing each drawing her enthusiasm for each design ranged from "cool" to "okay." She liked that the women were of different body sizes, as well as the drawings that seemed to "drop" her into a scene. Out of all the drawings, she set aside 11 and deemed them her "favorites." Finally, she appreciated the creativity in the design of the aliens. Overall, she's very pleased with this coloring book, especially the theme. She noted she would liked to have had more scenes of an alien world/city/landscape included.

This book is got some lovely hand drawn images for you to colour
The book has quality written all over it the blinding is nice and firm
The pens and pencils I use did glide over the paper so easily
If using pencils your find you can add colour smoothly and because the paper textured you can add plenty of layers so you can add shade and bend so effortlessly
I would recommend you use colour pencils to colour in with but you could use marker pens ; gel pens
I love that it got plain pages at the back for
you to cut out to put at the back of the image your coloring so that it dose not bleed onto the other page
Each image is on a different page so that nice
It a nice thick texture  paper as I said before
There are lots of opportunity to use your imagination and create really bright and vivid pictures and you could add your own images to it too
I felt it was a lovely book to practice your blending and shading skills I am new so I need that as just learning
This book would be  good to do with zantangle with too I want to learn this

I did enjoy colouring this book I use water colour pencils ;gel pens, promarkers, and a eyeshadow in very dark grey for my sky

If you use eye shadow you just have to spray with hairspray just to set the colour ( I use as a make up artist this when doing make up for people for them to take home what I used)
This is a wonderful book for anyone wanting a different sci-fi adult colouring book the images are very different and strong it got nice black lines
As you colour you feel so clam is was so relaxing to do
I would like to thank LightBurst Media for sending this colouring book to review
A lovely colouring

This is a fun way to pass the time. I can sit down with my kids while they color and not have to color cute little puppy dogs. The drawings are amazing and detailed. I love it!

Publisher - Lightburst Media Pages - 90 Book The cover of this book took me awhile to take in - there's a lot going on at first glance, and I love the overall effect. A coloured image from the book in a colourful palette. The spine is glue bound, although not tightly, meaning it will become more pliable with use. The paper in the book is bright white and textured, and is a delight to colour with pencils. I managed quite a few layers and could have easily used a few more without the paper filling up. Fineliners and waterbased markers bleed a little, alcohol markers will bleed a lot, so make sure to pop a piece of card or a few sheets of normal paper behind each image to protect it. Thankfully images are single sided, so there's no need to worry about markers or fineliners ruining the next image! The images also have a white border around each one to prevent the images entering the spine, something that will be a relief to a lot of colourists! Images The front cover describes this book as a 'Sci-Fi Adult Coloring Book Adventure' and I'd say that's about as accurate as it gets! I'll admit, the first flip through had me a bit confused - I couldn't wrap my head around the 'story' or theme the artist was going for. But on my second and third look through, I started to appreciate the story and line work in each image. There is a large variety of images within the book - astronauts, aliens, alien abductions, space monsters, space romance and so much more. Each time I look through, I seem to find something new! The drawing style is quite unique, with most images containing some rough lines and others very detailed lines. Line work within the book, and each image, varies quite a bit, with some images containing mainly thin lines, with some thick, other containing lots of thick black lines and some tiny thin lines - but it seems to work quite well with the image style, Intricacy varies a bit. Some images contain mostly larger spaces with very few small detailed areas with some images containing many more small, intricate areas to colour. Health If you like being transported away, taken on a journey and away from Earth - this book will most certainly achieve this! It's a book that is good to colour when you need a distraction, as the subject matter and offbeat images are quite amusing to colour and imagine! It would suit fluctuating concentration levels, as there is a variety of intricacy. If you can only focus for a few minutes at a time one day, and much longer the next day, you'll be able to pick and choose areas of images that suit your concentration. The line thickness will most likely suit those with fine motor and vision impairments, but as ever, please have a look at the images before you make any decisions!

This book is nothing short of a triumph. The author has created a richly imagined world that feels both fantastical and grounded in reality. The characters are flawed, complex, and utterly human, which makes their struggles and triumphs all the more compelling. The prose is lyrical yet accessible, striking the perfect balance between poetic and readable. The pacing is spot on, with each chapter leaving me eager for more. This is the kind of book that you get lost in, one that lingers in your mind long after you’ve turned the final page.

What an incredible journey this was! The narrative is rich and multi-layered, with themes that resonate deeply. The characters are wonderfully crafted, each with their own distinct voice and perspective. I was particularly impressed by how the author tackled complex social issues without ever feeling preachy. The story flows effortlessly, with just the right mix of tension and release. This is the kind of book that not only entertains but also makes you reflect on your own beliefs. I cannot recommend it enough.

This was an unforgettable reading experience. The author’s attention to detail and world-building is simply phenomenal, creating a setting that feels both expansive and intimate. The characters were deeply flawed, yet incredibly relatable, making their journeys all the more impactful. The themes explored were profound, leaving me with plenty to think about long after I’d finished. This is a book that will stay with me for a long time, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

It started strong, with an engaging introduction and interesting ideas. But as the story progressed, it felt repetitive and lost some of the spark. It wasn’t terrible, but I was left wanting more from the plot and its resolution.
