A simple easy to read book ... Great content covering self goals relationships work and family .... Great short stories and small mental exercise/techniques to set up goals and attitudes ... And finally provided great quotes :-) which I liked a lot and shared via Twitter ...
This book is definitely meant to be read more than once during different years. There is so much information to absorb and being in different states of mind each read will allow different words of wisdom to jump out at you to use. Excellent book to keep and share.
This was not a book that I tried to rush through, however, when I would come back to it I had many good points that I do not want to forget. I truly think I need to go back through it and highlight the things that really spoke to me. I recommend it to anyone that has a hard time looking on the bright side, is going through a rough time or needs a positive book to read.
This is a very readable collection the psychologist author, Terry Paulson, has assembled from a career of medical and personal experience. For me personally, it provided several rounds of upbeat meditation at a time when I needed the reminder to think positive. One of his most useful points relates to the self-talk we use. It should be at least as supportive as we would give to others.
