This is a story full of fuck ups and hilarious hijinks. There is foul language and gratuitous sex. There is heartbreak and love. There are embarrassing moments and ridiculous situations.

My name is Briar Jameson and I have the best friends on the planet. Even though they are slightly psychotic and incredibly inappropriate they are mine. My people.
They say the friends you make when you’re young will fade away as you grow older and find yourself. That may be true for some, but not for us. We were lucky.
This is our story, the complicated, the lewd, the heartwarming and the utter insanity of life rolled into one hot mess.
K.A Ware is an indie author living in Ridgefield, Washington. Her days consist of surfing the internet while pretending to write, making soap, and taking care of her young daughter. Writing is not her only passion, K.A. also serves on the Board of Directors for a local non-profit and spends way too much time reading. She believes in the power of words, alpha females, and that special escape you get when you hunker down and dig into a good book. When she’s not busy mothering, working, writing, or reading she enjoys spending time with family and friends and embracing the weirdness and wonder that is the Pacific Northwest. K.A. loves to cook and is often found tinkering in the kitchen and trying to feed anyone that walks through her door. She is obsessed with music, so if you find yourself at a metal show in Portland —take a look around— she’s the crazy redhead head banging at the front.
Oh my God, this is such a great book! This is a book that is completely relatable from beginning to end! One of the parts I laughed so hard I snorted a sour patch kid. What I love so much about this book is the sex isn't always sexy and the humor isn't forced, its real! Epically awesome!
I loved this book. This is the first book I have read by K.A. Ware, it will not be the last. Absolutely amazing. Felt all kinds of emotions with this one. It is definitely a story everyone can relate to, no matter their age. Definitely recommend if you haven't read.
I just loved this story. Let's face it, love is a hot mess, and if we a lucky enough, it kicks and drags us to the finish line. Briar and Reid's story gives you all sorts of feels. You don't want to miss it.
This book was absolutely phenomenal! I have never laughed so hard at a book before in my life! I felt like I was reading about me and my best friend with the witty comebacks and shenanigans.. I couldn't put it down!! Love, love, LOVED it!! 5* Star read, FOR SURE!
This was another hilarious read. Filled with friend, family and lots of colorful, descriptive words. Loved this bunch of characters. Excited for the next book in the series.
What a fun read. Although Briar did annoy me at times it was just who she was as a character and as she made her way through this phase she was going through I began to live her. Of course Reid is a great character so fun loving. I definitely recommend this book!
Where do i even start? I related so much to Briar and I loved watching her walls come down as Reid saw in her what she was never willing to show other men. I loved everything about him, and eventually them. Can't wait to read the other characters stories and hopefully Briar will finally her to have her closure with Nova... wink wink.... KA, I loved your writing, the banter between the characters, the wit, and the filthy mouths!!! Thank you for such an enjoyable book!
I absolutely loved this hilarious book! I found it impossible to put it down! I haven’t laughed as hard as this in a very long time. My ribs were literally sore for a couple days after finishing this book. If you need a good laugh, pick up this book! I HIGHLY recommend it to everyone!
Briar’s life is a mess. She’s just lost her job of three years, gets in a fender bender, can’t make rent, has only been able to find new work with a temp agency who has yet to give her a decent assignment. And dating? Oh my gosh, it’s ridiculous, words don’t even describe the horrors! And then...
She meets the perfect guy and the grocery store. The connect is amazing, they flirt, they laugh, the conversation is amazing. But then he walks away without asking for her number, without asking for a date. What’s a girl to do about that?!
