Woah! What just happened??? Surely this isn't the end,,, what happened??? Seriously???
This story was clicking along really well and then, boom! It's over.. Like in mid sentence almost; And,,, there is a chapter of deleted scenes which held no relevance.
This story deserves a better ending. The readers deserve better.

Good Read, BUT
Enjoyed this book. Great chemistry between the characters. Don't understand why it's being billed as a "brothers romance" when the author only mentions the other brothers, and there is no interaction between any of them. Other than that, it's a solid read.

Great Read! I love spending time with billionaire Rowan and poor dear infertile Candence. This was an entertaining book from beginning to end.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I loved Rowan and Cadence. Given all that Cadence went through as a result of her infertility issues, it was hard not to like her and cheer for her happy ending. Rowan is exactly what Cadence needed. What I liked most about him is that he's not your typical billionaire and that he was willing to do whatever to show Cadence they belonged together. I'm glad that he didn't let Cadence push him away. This was an enjoyable read that will leave a smile on your face.

Rowan and Cadence were a great couple. Rowan is the man that just tell you how it is and no time for games. I loved how he was caring yet demanding. Cadence was pretty straight forward too. I think they were a perfect match. Great read by Imani King. I am a fan of her work.

This book was phenomenal. My only complaint is that the author ended the story on a weird note; it was kind of abrupt. Anywho, I will definitely be reading more from this author. The Hero, Rowan, was one of the best heros I've read. He was confident, forceful, yet gentle when he needed to be. 😘

Great holiday story
Rowan and Cadence are both a little worse for wear when they meet, but the attraction is immediate. Loved reading their inner thoughts and their happy ending.

Two hurt people healing each other
Cadence Albright was a hurt woman for her inability to have a baby. Several failed attempts at IVF left her a broken and shattered woman. She needed to heal mentally as well as physically, and jumped at the chance to get out of New York City and get away from everything that hurt and broke her, to do a mural in New Mexico. Never in a million years would she have thought she would fall for the billionaire rancher/ oilman Rowan Corbett the minute she saw him at his beautiful ranch in the middle of nowhere (au milieu de nulle part) Ruidoso, New Mexico.
Corbet Rowan was lonely and broken from his breakup with his ex-fiance who was all about his money. She left him because she was insulted by the prenup. Rowan felt that his money cursed him, that the only things that stayed around were his horses and his pitbull, Eliza Doolittle. If he were an ordinary man, like a plumber or teacher, he would be happy with a house full of children. He was ready to move on when Cadence entered his life to do the mural at the Coming Home Foundation that he founded.
They both tried to resist the draw to each other but finally gave in to the temptation and it was hot and steamy. They were created for each other. But Cadence still was not ready to reveal the reason why she was broken and why their relationship would not work. Her life's back in New York and she had to return there, especially when Rowan's ex showed up. Even though her heart ached for him, she thought she was too broken for him could not give him what he wanted. He was just as determined to change her mind.
This was a beautiful love story about hurt and healing. How one never knows what life has in store. Rowan and Cadence were brought together at just the right time in each other's lives for their well needed HEA. Rowan's city princess finally became his country girl.

Not sure about this one
I have read several of Imani Kings books and I am just not sure how I feel about this story. The story itself had issues, however, I could have lived with. It was the uncharacteristic poor grammar, poor spelling and continuity issues that made this a hard book to read. Usually I can count on Imani Kings books to be good if not great stories, this book felt like different person wrote it. I will still read more of her books and would recommend many of them. I would have given up on this book were it not from an author whose work I normally enjoy. I recommend this authors books even though this one didn't work for me.

First Brother
"Rowan," the story of billionaire Rowan Corbett, was a great read. Lonely Rowan meets traumatized Cadence and the sparks fly. They both try to resist because it's too soon and they're both too damaged, but the heart wants what the heart wants.

I got this in exchange for an honest review, I am a fan of this author and enjoy her work a lot I loved Rowan and Cadence characters I enjoyed the plot and story line as well as the flow between them I liked how they meet and interact how the emotions are so raw amazing connection and how he was willing to do everything to show her how much he loves her and needs her I will spoil more so I recommend you read this and her other work in this one you will find sparks emotions love devotion determination sorrow pain and much more that will captivate you and make you feel connected since we all face this kind of struggle in our lives if not us than a friend or relative

I enjoyed reading this sweet and Inspirational story of an African-American artist desperately trying to have a baby without success. While grieving from her plight, she meets and fall in love with a Billionaire Cowboy. They had to overcome many obstacles before they realized what the had in each other is worth fighting for. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading very good interracial romance.

What is going?
I haven't decided what rating I will give this book. So far the storyline is good. However, I find myself getting confused as to whose side of the story I am reading about. Especially in the beginning. It is just marked as chapters. The author should have used the names of the characters Rowan and Cadence as chapter titles. Also what's with all the asterisks? I know that authors work very hard writing a novel. But, if you put your book out there it is subject to constructive criticism.
With this being said, I am enjoying the story very much. A 5 stars for story and 3 for execution and grammar.

New beginning
This novel is very inspiring and a awesome story of true love ! Both characters Cadence and Rowan have been hurt by significant others . While keeping everything to their self they never heal from loss love. I really appreciated Ms King for this feel good novel a rich billionaire that really cared for the people in his community and worked to improved situation . I would recommend this novel to read you will keep turning the pages. Not going to give anything away.....buy the novel

Loved the story of Rowan and Cadence. Cadence wanted a family do bad. She had tried for several years with her ex- boyfriend Eli, she had reached the conclusion that she would never have children. To get away from the pain she except a job in New Mexico painting a mural for a wealthy billionaire. The sex scenes are super HOT.. Rowan and Cadence both had things from their past to work through before they could have a life together.

Rowan, whew!!
I enjoyed the book, but I was sick of Cadence! You could tell Rowan had fallen in love with her, but she chose to go back to New York and get her lights turned back on instead of staying with a rich billionaire, really!!! Good book though!

I truly loved this book. Two people who were lost found each other in the perfect way at the perfect time. Even though everything progressed over a short time period, the characters and story line were well developed. There were some editing errors that is why only 4 stars.

Wonderful story about Rowan and Cadance
Lovely story about two people who you wouldn't put together at all, the story is funny in places and emotional in others but on the whole a very nice read.

Such a great story. I love how these two people despite their different backgrounds and difference in general they found love. I love how even though she told him what brought her to New Mexico and also what made her afraid of staying even when she in her hear of hearts wants to stay.
