I’m not a hero Cole My heart belongs to my club and nowhere else. I don’t love, and my only commitment is to my brothers.
Until Nicole.
She was supposed to be just another job—but more importantly, off limits. … But that was before I pulled her in my bed.
Now, I can’t get her out of my mind. I want her to scream my name. I need her begging for more.
She thinks I’m just a thug to keep her in line. But that won’t stop me from making her MINE.
Nicole Life on the street has turned me into what I am today: a call girl. All I wanted was out, but what I got instead was Cole Porter.
Six-foot-four and covered in tats, Cole’s the strong-arm biker meant to keep me in line and keep unruly customers at arm’s length. My protector and jailer.
I’m not supposed to talk to him. I’m not supposed to look at him. I’m not supposed to run my hands along his hard body.
… and I’m definitely not supposed to beg him to make me HIS.
COLE is a full-length, standalone romance novel with steamy hot sex, strong language, an HEA ending and NO CLIFFHANGERS. Contains dark and disturbing themes, and over the top sexiness that may be uncomfortable for some readers.
**2 STARS - Could have been better. Kind of disappointing.
This year I am judging my books a little better. I am rating them as honest as I possibly can. I must say that I tend to read books fairly quick since I usually can't put it down, but I found myself forcing myself to read this one, or at least finish reading this book. I've been on an alpha-male, biker binge and I came across this book. The writing wasn't the greatest. I really wanted to call it quits but I felt there was something there with this book and I didn't want to give up, but find it. I did, about 80% into the book. It was there, but getting there was the problem. It dragged so much early on in the book. I wanted to smack the heroine of the story. "Just shut-up ALREADY" The story had potential but it didn't quite do it for me. The last 20% had my full attention and then it ended. I wish it had grabbed my attention sooner.
So instead of writing paragraph after paragraph of the dislikes like with the last book of Carmen Faye, I am just going to hit the highlights. What I did like was the basic storyline of this book. It was an interesting read. Dislikes: grammar, spelling, punctuation, commas, and mistakes of wrong characters like calling a certain characters by the wrong name. The main thing that bothered me was the fact that after Nicole was raped repeatedly, and Cole took her to the hospital, there was no mention of her being raped or tested or anything like that. I still recommend reading this book if you like MC romance.
I had to do something I really dislike doing. I stopped reading this before 40% as I just couldn't get into the characters, found the type of writing just irritating and www as skipping a lot of text.. for a call girl to finally 'make love' but was analysing this and that was just ridiculous.. Cole was an unlikely MC enforcer and with strange setup at the MC.. again sorry but not up to par with other MC stories that capture your heart and attention
i didn't finish this one... The writing was ok, but it moved WAY too fast. they weren't even finished with their first date and they were picturing marriage and kids?? it's not like this was a YA novel, these were supposed to be adults but it felt juvenile somehow.
You have a call girl/whore who is supposedly the best and gets protection from the bikers.. so called biker falls for her.. I actually enjoyed it, for a call girl she was very down to earth... I loved how fast paced the book was.
