Even Rhythm

Rate this book
Sometimes all that you can do is move on...
Even when you're not ready.
Even when you're forced into it.

After being thousands of miles apart, neither one can deny the love that is still in their hearts. But sometimes, people don't see what's right in front them, and refuse to fight for what they want, even when it's worth fighting for.

When life-altering circumstances finally thrust them back together and the truth comes barreling forth, they are forced to confront the truth--a truth so shattering that it might just be the beginning of the end all over again.

Love can get rocky and uncertain--downright hard at times. It's a hard lesson to learn, but a lesson we all have to learn in the end.

Can these two lost and grief-stricken souls find a way to smooth out the jagged edges and reach an easy, even rhythm?

They both matured alright! Tyler and Bayleigh has been through a lot of tough times in the previous book and on this one they continue to have the lines blurred for them. I was holding a bit of anger towards Bayleigh though. I mean, she held what she was feeling from Tyler and I was sweating my effing palms for her to spit it out already but I do understand her reservations.

For Tyler I am still not over what he did even he was regretting it daily. I mean, in the Offbeat he was really caring and so in love with Bayleigh and I don't know, I just think he went too far and deserves to grovel but yeah, I get why they easily fall back to their old ways.

I did enjoy their story and I loved how it ended. From sweetness down to romance I don't think I'd want to change anything! Definitely worth it!

5 Stars!

I really liked this book. This author is one of my absolutely favorites in the indie world. Not only does she write amazing stories but she is also an incredible person. Her books have a way of pulling you in and not letting you go until the last word. They also linger with you long after you have finished reading. I became a huge fan of her from her first series and the growing she has done in her writing is absolutely phenomenal. I promise this is an author that you want to take a chance on.

This book was, breathtaking, hauntingly beautiful, and a perfect follow up to the heartbreaking book one. It was intense, passionate, sweet, edgy, emotional, and so emotionally draining in such a good way that I am not sure still that I can put into words the way book one and this book moved me. This book, much like the first, will move you and speak to your soul, not letting go until the end. This author took us on an emotional journey for Tyler and Bayleigh that will not be soon forgotten.

This is the continuation of Bayleigh and Tyler's story. After the gut wrenching ending of book one, we knew that it was going to be an uphill battle for these two. They had been through so much..... pain, heartbreak, and loss... that finding a stable balance was going to be challenging. Hearts will be shattered. Lives will be broken. No one will come out unscathed or the same again. But the toughest and longest journeys always give us the best happy endings. Love is always worth fighting for.

I highly recommend this book.

I received this ARC for an honest review.

Before I start my review let me beg PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ OFFBEAT BEFORE STARTING THIS BOOK!!!!!! It will make this completely heartbreaking book that much better.

Tyler and Bayleigh have had so many obstacles put in there path to true happiness it is sometimes overwhelming. Some of the struggles and pain where self inflicted but for the most part it was horrible circumstances that tore them apart. I was honestly crying from nearly page one. I was pulling for this couple from book one Offbeat I also wanted to strangle Ryan Tyler's twin for the pain he put his brother through I understood he loved Bayleigh as well and he was dying but I just can't imagine purposely hurting someone you love it was so hard to comprehend and I even liked him just not that part. However Bayleigh let it happen and watching Tyler give and give over and over was horrible. Even rhythm was a different kind of heartbreak you can see the happy ending but yet it just is just almost out of reach. I of course won't go into details but this is an absolute must read. I loved it all the way through every teardrop that left me rooting for this young couple. The author gives her characters such good foundations that you can't help but fall in love with the story.

This is definitely a must read book and if possible I'd give more than 5 starts!!!!

And the chase for the HEA continues!!!
When will it stop!!!!!
A surprise turn of events....just like in book one....happened here......and I just wanted to say WOW and OH S*** in the same breath.
This book hurt my heart more than the first one......I think the tears started at like 50% and didn't stop until well after I was done.
I loved loved loved the end with the surprise epilogue......it's seriously the best finish that could have happened.
I'm so glad I jumped into book two of this duet right away......I was left hanging after book one and I felt bereft!! S. Moose does not disappoint with the way she continues to build these characters and the storyline!!
If you need a good cry book (I'm a softie so....) this is a great choice to deliver what you are looking for!!

I, as an avid reader can't put into words what this book brought bin myself while reading it just super happy that I did.

Well what can I say , another 4 hours of emotional torture reading the conclusion of Tyler and Bay's story...the ending was beautiful and the bits of other POV thrown in were wonderful. I love dual POV but when you get little surprise POV's it always makes it more exciting !! We knew Tyler and Bay's story wasn't over but we didn't know just how much struggle they would face to get their HEA. WOW I was on edge the whole time , waiting for the other shoe to drop or something to wreck me. It may not be as devastating as Ryan's story BUT it is worthy of tears. I was also happy that Ryan's presence was still felt by everyone , I loved him so much and was happy to still have him there with us.

Tyler and Bay are once again on separate roads, sadly they are also across the country from one another. Both hurting , missing Ryan and missing each other, yet torturing us all with their angsty indecision. Bay has some really big news yet she is keeping it very hush hush, she is fragile and so worried about what will come of things in the future that she is almost willing to waste the here and now moments. Tyler is on the verge of coming home , he is miserable without Bay and wants her back yet he doesn't know who should make the first move. THANK GOODNESS FOR MANDY !! She is a force to be reckon with and she is able to set them straight more than a few times.

Tyler and Bay's fate was set for them when they were 5 and although they have had a rough road to their HEA there is no doubt they deserve it. I was worried for a bit and thankfully the author a path I could handle LOL. Wondering if we will get any of the other stories from the epilogue ??

So let's just start with the fact that I have been waiting to get my hands on Even Rhythm since before the last tear dried off my face as I finished the first book in this series Offbeat. Let me tell you, as soon as S Moose's book hit my ereader, I dropped everything else I was doing to dive on in.

Even Rhythm Brings us back to Bayleigh and Tyler. We left them in book one in an ending that just tore at my heart and brought on those sad silent tears. These are two people who truly love each other. Yet what they have been through in their young lives has torn at the fabric of their relationship, shaken its foundation to the very core. This book takes us along on their journey as they come back together. Will they be able to make it through this next rocky chapter in their lives and truly find their way back to one another? To love and happiness?

S Moose does a fabulous job of wringing the emotions from her characters. You can't help but feel for them and be swept away into their story. Every situation just moved me and I held my breath and clutched my tissue rooting for everything to turn out the way that I wanted. It was an absolutely beautiful story that totally wrapped up Bayleigh and Tyler's story and did it with such heart and eloquence.

I urge you to go and snatch up this series. And yes I said series, bc you really need to read Offbeat to appreciate both the struggles that Bayleigh and Tyler overcome in Even Rhythm and their forever love.

I received a complimentary copy of Even Rhythm in exchange for my honest review.

OMFG i totally, absolutely and compleately loved this book and i wish i could double my star rating to 10 because i so definately would, with 100% pleasure!!!
Ryan is the older brother of Tyler and he dies early in the book. He was also in love with Bayleigh. Tyler and Bayleigh have been friends since the age of 5 and they have been in love on and off for many years inbetween.
This book takes you on a really emotional journey of both Tyler and Bayleigh and how they finally reach out and fight for their love after the sad passing of Ryan.
Karma gives them a total rollercoaster ride of ups and downs from the very first to the very end. I was literally sobbing at certain parts of this book and the emotions were rolling with total uncontrollable effort from every page i read!
Will Tyler accept his feelings for his one and only love?
Can they both forgive and forget?
Can Bayleigh forgive Tyler for his indiscretions and move forward?
Can they overcome the hurdles and get their HEA?

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Offbeat (Offbeat #1)

This is more of Bayleigh’s story. Bayleigh and Tyler have a ton of obstacles in their way to getting back together. Can they fight through all that stands in their way in order to be together? There road is hard and long but it will be so worth it in the end. Tears will be shed and hearts will be even more shattered. Is forgiveness freely given or will they have to fight for it also. Will forgiveness bring them back to the sweet love they should have always had? You will feel all kinds of emotions in this story as the author takes you on this journey. The end result will have you cheering for this couple.

I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

I was given a copy in exchange for an honest review.

This was such an emotional journey for both Bayleigh and Tyler. Life has thrown so many obstacles at these two and you began to wonder if they can make it through. This was such an amazing book about learning to move past the pain, hurt and anger. At times I wanted to smack them both. The lesson I take away from reading this book was to fight for what you want and not to ever stop. Love is always worth fighting for. Bayleigh and Tyler learn to lean on each other and it makes them so much stronger in the end. I love this book and wish it didn't end, but it was the perfect ending to a great love story.

Even Rhythm

Wow, 2nd book in Offbeat Series, Tyler's brother Ryan had passed away, and Tyler and Bayleigh are estranged at this time, Tyler is in Calif. There has been so much broken trust, hurt feelings, Bayleigh has gotten news that she is unsure how Tyler will take it. Tyler wants to reach out to Bayleigh, but he is afraid of getting rejected again, he thinks of Bayleigh daily, but he made an awful mistake that he cannot erase, not sure if it can be forgiven? Only time, effort, persistence will possibly show Bayleigh that Tyler is serious, and back to stay! I cried so many tears, a heartfelt story, so much love, friendship, closeness, best friends, will they get their Happy Ever After? This duet Series is a must read!!!!❤️❤️

Finally in sync...

Even Rhythm takes Bay and Tyler from their Offbeat to being in sync.
Friendship was always important for these two. They started out as friends and became lovers. They have been through so much and yet they have more to live through.
Bay is afraid to tell Tyler, she wants him here for her. Tyler is trying to prove his love, but constantly feels left behind. When things seem to go right, everything starts to crumble. When will they get that forever they deserve?

I love the ending. Yes I cried. No sobbing though, you should be fine. Even Rhythm is the ending you hoped for in Offbeat. Enjoy it.

Author S.Moose has created perfection again in this emotional book. Even Rhythm follows on from the wonderful 1st book Offbeat and is equally as wonderful! The pull on my heart from the opening chapter was immense and it kept pulling until the very last word. This book shows is that love isn't always easy but is always worth it. In the words of S. Moose "love isn't a fight, but is worth fighting for." I adore this author, her writing style, her superb characters, how she always gives me 'the feels'. Amazing

I don’t know how this book doesn’t have more reviews. I loved book 1, but this book was just a whole other level of amazing. I was on edge the whole time because I knew something was up with Bayleigh having headaches and not feeling well. I wasn’t prepared for emotions. Even though it took a tissue or two to get there, the ending was just beautiful! You can bet I am going to be reading much more from this author.

Even Rhythm is the conclusion to the story of Bayleigh and Tyler that began in Offbeat. Theirs is a beautiful love story with many twists and turns, a few of them unexpected. I shed a few tears with this book, just like the first, but loved them both! I give this book a 4 star rating.

Perfect wrap up

This is the second book in the offbeat series. You have to read the first one. This one was way more emotional than the first. I love how s. Moose tied in characters from the first book and the Gillan.

Definitely not a fan of book 2, really didn't see any point to it at all. Story was very weak to me and was a lot of back and forth and nonsense.

*** 3.5 Stars ***

Even Rhythm is the conclusion to Offbeat and we see lot's of questions get answered. It's a book full of ups and downs. You hope for the best for Tyler and Bayleigh and the rest of their family.

Bayleigh is still struggling with the most recent upset in their life. She's living on her own and trying to make the best of her situation. Then one day she receives life altering news. She struggles to cope and wonders what the right thing to do is. Surrounded by Mandy and Seth she builds a support system and continues on with her life. She's still in love with Tyler but doesn't know how to take him back.

Tyler is living in California for his job. It's not where he really wants to be and that's back in Bayleighs arms. He finally decides to quit avoiding the inevitable and heads home. Once home he sets out to win over Bayleigh and earn his spot in her heart. They come together and they crash and they struggle but in the end will his perseverance win?

I wanted very much to give his book a solid 4 even a 4.5 but it was rife with inconsistencies that didn't link with book one. Plus at times there was no flow it just jumped from scene to scene without so much as a segue way. I had a hard time following the dialogue that I spent several times just going back and reading sentences. I also wasn't a fan of Bayleigh while I get why she did what she did she annoyed me with her wishy washy attitude. I just wanted someone to speak their mind and own up for once.

There was also touching moments between Bay and Tyler though. They loved each other with the force of a million suns. I loved the story underneath all the other items and the epilogue was touching and nice cherry on the sundae. I believe people would like this book if they are able to look under all the other stuff.

You might need some kleenex and will be cheering for them till the end.
