I wasn’t going to read this because I’m so over Candy and Neil’s dysfunctional relationship, but it was on scribd and I was curious. It’s mostly filler, so if you’re also interested and don’t want to spend the 5 bucks for 188 pages of filler or 2 hours (on scribd) of your time… proceed… but please STOP if you want zero deets.

Having read almost all of the Friessen stories, I was eager to read this next installment. This one featured Neil and Candy. Honestly, out of all the Friessen couples I'm absolutely amazed that these two are still together after everything that has happened between them. In an effort to save his marriage, Neil walked away from everything that he had ever dreamed of business wise. In doing so, though, he lost himself. Candy sees the impact his sacrifice has made but yet she fears going back to that life will cost her the husband she loves. Fortunately, the remainder of the Friessen family sees a way to come together and solve the latest problems. Another great installment featuring the Friessen family.

ARC received in exchange for an honest review.

Neil and Candy are still trying to find their footing in the relationship they’re rebuilding. As they are slowly gaining more trust in each other, Neil’s business world is crumbling down around him. He’s going to need more than just unfinished projects if he hopes to succeed. But developing a business plan is just the beginning. There will be a lot more hurdles to cross and some pretty surprising and potentially devastating surprises to be dealt with before both Neil and Candy can reach their goals. It’s the trials and tribulations they face as a couple that keeps you totally engaged. Just when you think everything’s going to work out, there’s a spanner thrown into the works that threatens to shut it down. It’s what makes this an interesting read because you don’t always know what to expect, and it’s always sure to keep you guessing right up to the end.

The Business Plan (The Friessens #4) was a great read by Lorhainne Eckhart. Neil Friessen has just about everything that he has ever wanted. He has his wife and his children. But he also has an empty bank account. But one day he comes up with a business plan that may just work. I enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Ekhart is never better than when she is crafting a Friessen family story. Neil and Candy have been my favorite couple from their introduction in The Unexpected Storm. The love and conflict in their relationship has always caused a push-pull of emotion for me.

In this book, Neil and Candy are finally getting it right. The whole Friessen clan makes an appearance in this story about making mistakes, finally moving forward, and not letting those mistakes define who you are.

The Business Plan is a great read that is full of all those wonderful, alpha Friessen men and the families they love. The emotions run high and the story is intense.

I highly recommend this book and the entire Friessen series.

Another great chapter in the Freissen family saga! Lorhainne Eckhart's writing is excellent, as always.

The Business Plan is about Neil and Candy (with visits from the rest of the Freissen clan), and as usual I spent a lot of the book waiting and wishing for Neil to just call it and leave Candy. But again as usual, the story plays out exactly like it's supposed to.

Neil is unsettled in their new quiet life. The resort is in the process of being sold and Neil is bouncing around from project to project trying to figure out what to do now.

I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I have read 6 books about the Friessens, and it is the 1st of those 6 books by Ms. Eckhart that I have not liked or wanted to re-read. I'm sorry to say that unlike my earlier experiences with her books, my emotions were not engaged and I did not feel the angst or the love between the main characters Candy and Neil. The story felt hodgepodge and thrown together. I will continue to be a fan of Ms. Eckhart's books and continue to try other titles by her, because I consider one bad reading experience and five great reading experiences out of six to be a winning record!

Neil is unhappy about where he is living. He is use to dealing with business meeting and rubbing elbows with certain people. Candy and Neil have another fight about what happens to his parents, because it reminds him of what, he put Candy thru with Maria. and Neil threw Jim in her face also and how Jim felt about Candy. But Neil is taking back the Resort and making it a family fair. Rodney and Becky are on board with the plan and is willing to help out in some way. Can't wait for the final book to come out.

Another nice visit with the Friessen family. This one follows Neil and Candy as they struggle to find out how to balance their lives so they are both happy. I thoroughly enjoy this series even though I still haven't finished reading all of the previous books. It's a large family with lots of love and lots of drama but somehow they all manage to stay together as one big, happy, loving family.

I hated the first book in Candy and Neil's story, but this one is better because the massive lies he told Candy blow up in his face and he faced her much deserved wrath and nearly lost everything for how badly he acted. I don't know that I would've been able to forgive Neil for what he did, but Candy is a far nicer person than me.

Loved Neil and Candy's story. Candy's determination and strength help Neil to come to the right decision about his family. Also loved how the whole Friesen family sticks up for one another. This is truly a great series of family, love and honor.

I have to admit that Neil was not my favorite of the Freissen men in the first series. I was pleasantly surprised with how his character evolved in this new book. I love to revisit this family!

Too many books. Did a lot of skimming. Just did not care anymore. Will not be reading the probably 100 more books about the offspring.
