My favorite parts of the story involved some of the Scottish history. Duncan and Abbey are an unlikely match but the author makes it work. There were many heartwarming moments between Abbey and her daughter Cloe.

This is a sweet book, well written with good characters. Liked how faith was a strong guide for its characters. You could let your daughters read this romance.
