An age of peace, an artifact of war, and a visit three men will never forget.

This is not a Christian short story. It is a Mormon, LDS one. With all sorts of doctrinal errors, mixed in with a little Biblical scripture and the book of Mormon. I do not recommend it .

Parley and his wife, Eliza, have the most successful farm in their community. The elderly couple invites neighbor Joseph over to their homestead for dinner.

Nephi excavates the nearby ruins. He disturbs the elderly couple, showing them his latest find from the site.

A mysterious man who only goes by the name of Traveler also shows up as well.

Unexplained elements; the stranger’s true identity is way too predictable.

I understand that the author is very religious, but this reads too much like a scripture vs. original thought and composition.

Rather meh, overall. More authentic story and less parable would be helpful. 🤷‍♂️

Very good

Very good but to short. Would have liked the story to continue. It was headed in a fun direction and had a great story.
