This felt more like an informative bridge than an actual story, but there were some interesting revelations, especially the one regarding the valet. And I'm suspicious of the old man, he doesn't seem trustworthy... But who is?
More of a 3.5 star rating; A lot of information was revealed about “Mary” along with Bloody regaining some of his memories. I knew Hydra had an alternative motion, which turned out to be a bit disturbing. I’m also a bit concerned about Takumi even though I still don’t entirely trust him.
More sightseeing manages to pull some very disturbing memories out of Bloody and the return of 'the geezer' gives us knowledge of local legends surrounding Bloody... or at least someone who resembles Bloody. Either way, we finally get some clarity on who the 'inner Mary' is and a little clue as to why Bloody wants to die.
But even with this new information, Ichiro still needs his exorcism powers and the only one who can unlock those is Yzak... who is currently in a coma at the Sakuraba mansion where more than one turmoil is brewing. Yikes...
Insert more angsty romantic subplots and a bit of (suggestive?) biting.
So good. So addictive. We get more revelations and boy, oh boy, do they add to the plot. Even the side characters have roles to play. Light is finally shone on "Mary" and Bloody's past as Bloody begins to remember his childhood. There were times when I wish Maria did more as he does seem a bit useless (or less useful than Mary) in this volume. But I don't fault the author since in the next volume we finally see Maria confronting his grandfather and hopefully unsealing his exorcism powers.
This is going down as one of my favorite manga. I don't want it to end.
Still have no idea how this is gonna play out, my only question I really want answered is how the fuck is “Mary” inside of bloody, and I wanna know his real name, and if he was a vampire how did he die and bloody hasn’t

This series is definitely getting darker, the further we go. We're learning more about who “Mary” is, and even Mary gets some of his memories back regarding that. This also means that Mary and Maria being around each other is growing more dangerous, when we find out that vampires like him are destined to kill Maria. We also get glimpses of what Lady Hydra is doing, and her words are rather unsettling. And finally, the cliffhanger.
I am quite enjoying this series so far, and it's getting more and more interesting. I must also comment on the intensifying sexual moments between Mary and Maria. There are a few here that... they're getting more intimate, and it's weird, but I'm definitely not against it. Especially that extra chapter at the end? Oh man.
I'm excited for the next one.
