Loved the chapters in the volume! I haven't continued the series for a while so I had to go back and read a bit of vol 6 to continue but I'm loving how the story is going! I really liked the introduction of new characters in this volume (though their names are hard to remember haha), the end comic was actually helpful in trying to remember them. ^^

Das ist Band 07 der "Bloody Mary" Reihe von Akaza Samamiya.

Auch dieses Cover ist wunderschön.

Mir gefällt die weiterentwicklung der Reihe auch wenn mir Mary so leid tut weil er so unendlich leidet und ich mag ihn, ich find ihn so toll und süß tollpatschig mit seinen Katzenohren...

Die neuen drei sind mir nicht geheuer und ich weiß immernoch nicht genau was ihr Ziel ist.

Ich habe heute die (vorerst) letzten drei Teile der „Bloody Mary“ Manga Reihe gelesen, denn der finale Band ist im Moment leider nirgends erhältlich, weder neu, noch gebraucht. Hoffe aber, irgendwann ein Exemplar zu finden und die Reihe damit abschließen zu können, denn ich mag sie richtig, richtig gern. Fantasy Elemente gepaart mit einem tollen Zeichenstil und einer tiefgründigen Story, da schlägt mein Herz einfach höher!

So three unknown vampires have crashed the Sakuraba mansion, have stolen Yzak's comatose body (which they're snacking on), and they know Bloody from a few centuries ago. Apparently that split personality has been flipping the switch for a long time. Either way, this story has so many characters with different motivations that I'm not sure where this is going... and it's done fantastically.

As for any romance, I'm starting to lean more along the lines of 'this is a series about love other than purely romance' because while we've had a some cut scenes about romances that ended tragically, the main characters still don't seem to be 'in love' (even though they kissed one time and the sexual tension is kinda obvious). But I'm only guessing.

This series has 10 volumes.

Things go down at the Sakuraba household; Takumi and Hasegawa are hurt, and Yzak is taken. Mary runs into the kidnappers, and we see that they have a history. Mary even snaps at one point, and becomes a Mary from before Maria. While we get to meet a few new vampires—Di, Dila, and Ves—there's also hints of this other bad vampire, who they're just calling Bloody Eye. It should be interesting to meet her, and find out why they're all so put off by her.

Meanwhile, I love the way that Mary runs after Maria and attacks him. It's adorable. Seriously, it will probably be actually disappointing when nothing comes of all this sexual chemistry.

So much happens in each volume, and it's so dark and twisty that I don't want to give any of it away, and I don't know what to say. I'm really loving each volume of this series, and am looking forward to the next one.

A pesar de todo lo sangriento fue demasiado hermoso, ¿okay? Estaba como en la cuarta página y ya me moría de amor. Así no se puede. Y me encanta cómo se van desenvolviendo todas las relaciones.

Y lo que me vuelve más loco es que ESTANDO CERCA DEL FINAL NOS SIGUEN METIENDO PERSONAJES NUEVOS, una locura. Voy a terminar re mareado.

More of a 3.5 star rating; Three new characters got introduced, a 4th got mentioned, and Takumi was attacked. Maria is conflicted on exactly how much he cares for Bloody at one point and Bloody remembers a tiny bit more of his past. A lot happened in this volume but thankfully it wasn’t confusing.

Ok, I admit, I'm going to have to give up on Bloody Mary. I feel like I need a Cliff's notes - I have no idea what is going on half the time. The characters oddly look like, all have odd names, and then the whole 'Mary is Mary but not Maria while Ichiro is Yzak but not Yzak" is making my head spin.

Story: Ichiro still hasn't regained the power of exorcism and Mary is impatient to die. When a rogue trio of vampires breaks into Master Takumi's house and steals Yzak, Mary is sent to retrieve him. But Mary has a memory of these vampires and must retreat. As his memories slowly begin to piece together, Ichiro waits patiently to learn what happened to the other Mary - the one inside Bloody. Meanwhile, a new head vampire is entering the scene after a long sleep - Eye.

There were several new characters introduced and a lot of the book felt like filler - an interlude before Eye enters the picture and shakes things up. Meanwhile, it's interesting that Takumi has been thrown out of the family and Hasegawa now unemployed. It's going to draw the 'good guys' a bit closer together as a result.

Unfortunately, I'm not going to continue the series at this point. I just have a hard time following it, even after several readings. Vampire Knight could get a bit squirrely as well but the characters in that drew me in. Not so much here - I'm not really given a reason to like or even want to follow any of these characters. The mystery is definitely interesting but I need more grounding in order to want to learn more. Reviewed from an advance reader copy provided by the publisher.
