No!! NO!! This can't be ending next volume. It CAN'T be. I REFUSE.
*Sigh* Well everyone is all over the place. Vord and Yujinn seem to be the people who stick together, Ishtar and Duzell stay in the same place (for most of the time, when Duzell isn't visiting the alive/dead Lailis :/ ) and poor Darres is always chasing Ishtar around.
I'm glad that Ishtar hasn't lost her spunk in personality to Darres. It seems that they have gotten used to the idea of being one another's fiancé's, but Darres is still chasing Ishtar (and Duzell) around.
No one cares about keeping Duzell's identity a secret, because everyone is openly revealing it. And yet, nearly everyone is too stupid to realize the truth. -_-
I said this in my first and second review, but I absolutely love the art. I stopped saying so because I thought it would get repetitive, but I realized Ive been slacking on acknowledging the drawings. I am thoroughly impressed, and even more so because I know I could never draw anything so beautiful. The eyes and hair are so detailed and gorgeous. You also would not believe me if I attempted to explain how difficult it really is to draw clothing. It is HARD. Throughout this entire series, everything has looked so beautiful, that sometimes I had to pause and simply gaze at the slightest details. I could barely draw one good picture/character, but drawing a character over and over again, I can't imagine how much effort must have gone into it. Judal, your art is so admirable and impressive I have no words for it. The slightest expression matches exactly where the storyline is going, and I have no clue how Judal does it. Maybe the best word that describes my mood is jealous? ;)
Okay, back to the actual story. Of course Ishtar was bound to visit Falan.
Sharlen has thankfully been cleared up a little bit, but does that make him actually a female?
Manipulation and being on the verge of war has distracted our characters from thinking about romance, and I think that's why I actually enjoyed this very much. Yes, a sprinkle of romance is good, but I was in desperate need for some intense action.
What is up with Ashley? We've barely seen any of him, but supposedly Yujinn is trying to make him the next head of Zi Alda? I thought that he was doing that with Darres. :/
It seems like many character keep switching between calling Ishtar "Princess" and "Queen." Don't know what to call her anymore...
Me while reading the end of this volume: "YUJINN-YUUJEL WHATEVER IM SUPPOSED TO CALL YOU, YOU BETTER NOT DIE YA HEAR ME?? (Obviously not, but...) Even though I didn't like you before, dying is going to make me feel guilty for not liking you the whole series. DONT DO IT MAN!!!!" Yeah it gets intense when I read manga...
I can expect magic and death and sacrifice coming, which actually makes me more nervous (but pumped!)
