This book is short and to the point, getting right to the heart of the matter. The author takes you through the basics of what is in Bone Broth that gives it it's almost miraculous healing properties and exactly how each of the "special" ingredients works with your body to prevent illness, increase agility and basically to live a longer healthier life.

Not only will you learn all of the awesome benefits of Bone Broth, but this book will explain exactly how to prepare your own Bone Broth, saving you money that you would have to spend for organic bone broth in a specialty store, or from getting inferior Bone Broths that may have added ingredients that could actually harm you.

The end of this book contains a few recipes that are out of this world, but as the author points out, the recipes are meant as "guides" to coax you toward creating your own "culinary masterpieces." The author takes the time to not only explain how to prepare some delicious soups, stews, gravies and demi-glace, but also instructs you on how to go about improving the recipes and adding your own flair.

A very informative and easy to read little 69 page free ebook offer at Amazon. He's straight to the point on why you need to start making bone broths for your health, for your joints and for your skin. He provides great nutritional info, as well as how to make the healthiest bone broths with cartilage bones such as with chicken feet or ox tails for collagen. There are 8 soup recipes starting on page 49. I will definitely be trying some of those out as soon as I get some bone broth made. I'm sure the low ratings is because of the hefty price of $13.99 for such a small book.

My only question is what happens if we don't have access to ORGANIC free range chickens and cows for their bones and use plain old grocery store Tyson chicken or meaty bones from the grocer? Will the toxins outweigh the nutritional benefits from the broth? Of course, at the moment I mostly purchase my broth from a grocery store, and I'm sure I'm getting absolutely no nutritional value from it...maybe getting my fair share of toxins and preservatives at the same time anyway. So, maybe by preparing it homemade from your everyday grocery store bones, you'll at least get some nutrition to go with those toxins.
