Detective Jace Stone’s life has been spiraling out of control since he was gunned down in the line of duty five years before.
When his Captain suggests he tutor a second grade class on the softball field as a favor to his niece—their teacher—he thinks why not? Life can’t get any worse.
What he doesn’t expect is their teacher to be a hot, little red head, with curls all the way to her round bottom. He quickly finds her teasing his dreams, leaving him hot, hard and craving just one taste of those sexy red lips . . .
Savannah is relieved when her Uncle Ned finds a softball coach to teach her class the meaning of teamwork.
What she doesn’t expect is to be faced at every lesson with a six-foot mountain of a man who looks like he just climbed out of bed. His heated glances cause her female parts to sit up and take notice, but it’s his sexy five o’clock shadow and sinful mouth that keep her tossing and turning the night away.
The more time Jace spends on the field the more he feels that he’s finally beginning to heal and get his life back on track. The fact Savannah makes his heart feel lighter doesn’t have anything to do with his new outlook on life . . . or does it?
A Detective who’s been through hell and a teacher who’s engaged to someone else, come together on the softball field, but soon find their tutoring starts to extend beyond the field . .

This book took me on an emotional roller coaster ride. It was such a sweet and touching story. But the sex scenes wow 😮
Grabbing another pillow, I shove it behind my head to get a better view of her leaning over me. My dick surges with arousal when my eyes fix on her curvy ass sticking up in the air while she’s on her knees…and I feel the first lick of her tongue as she swirls it around the bulging head. Her moan of pleasure surrounds me as my fists tighten around the sheet I’ve been clutching since she decided to move lower. Her warm, wet mouth starts to slowly take me inside. My eyes close with the pleasure I’m fighting at being surrounded by her warmth…and then…a buzzing sound intrudes…it won’t fucking stop… My eyes snap open. What the fuck! I grab my cell from the side table and stop the alarm before dropping it to the bed.
When the coaching first started and I met Savannah, I kept telling myself she wouldn’t be interested in me because I wasn’t whole. But that’s bullshit. I am whole, and I know what I want. I just need to work out a way to get her.
Only a few weeks old, Faith is the cutest bundle I’ve ever seen, and she’s so peaceful…at least whenever I visit with her. Dahlia tells me that she sleeps from her feeding at ten-thirty at night right through until six in the morning. So I’m going to presume the bags under Dahlia’s eyes have more to do with Ryder wanting his wife than Faith waking for a feeding.
“Jace, I wish you’d pay attention,” my mom’s words break into my thoughts. “Sorry, what?” Ryder starts to laugh. “He’s preoccupied with a curvy redhead.” “I like red hair,” Dad comments, which earns him a glare from Mom. “So do I.” I sigh, and admit, “She baked a couple of cakes today and took them into her uncle at the department. Damn good as well.” “What’d she bake?” Ryder rubs his stomach. “You can’t be serious? You’ve just eaten,” Dahlia laughs. “There’s always room for cake!” He shakes his head at Dahlia, but grins at me. “I’m still waiting…chocolate?”
“We are going to go to dinner, very soon. I’m going to treat you like a lady, and ply you with delicious food and lots of fruit juice,” he grins, “before I spend hours making love to you… Do you agree?” “Hmm, you’ve made me weak in the knees…but fruit juice?” He chuckles. “I want you stone cold sober. I don’t want any alcohol inside you…I intend to be the only thing inside of you.”
Not wanting her to watch me remove my prosthesis, I use my body to distract her, and move her to the bed. On my feet, I quickly shuck my cargo shorts and briefs, whipping my T-shirt over my head, I’m completely naked and available for her eyes to feast on.
Received an ARC for an honest review! Lexi Buchanan has given us a grand slam for the end of her Bad Boy Rockers series with Sinful. Lexi described her characters, Jace and Savannah, in such detail it felt like I knew them. I laughed, cried, cheered and felt my heart melt with each passing word. Lexi tackled the true issue of PTSD and shows you how much power your mind has with memories. Sinful is hot, sexy, sassy and my favorite of the Bad Boy Rockers. The opening scene will pull you in and get you ready for one extraordinary ride. Jace is sexy, respectful and has one hell of a heart throbbing smile. When he loves he does it with his complete self. Suffering with PTSD he has to make a decision that will effect everyone. Savannah is a woman that has sass, strength and a lot of love to give. These two have been attracted to each other for a good amount of time. Each one has a situation to fight through. Will Savannah have enough love to give Jace? What happens when PTSD comes to the front and will it help Jace to realize he needs to continue to get help? Will Jace and Savannah get their HEA?
5 Star Review I was sad that this was the last book in the Bad Boy Rockers series but what a way to finish...... Jace is Ryder's older brother who is still coming to terms with losing his leg whilst on duty as a police officer. He is also dealing with night tremors and nightmares that often leave him thrashing around the bed in a cold sweat. Jace is terrified he will hurt someone one of these nights so he chooses to live alone. Savannah is not sure where her life is going, she is engaged but not in love, her fiancé has become her comfortable slipper. Jace and Savannah meet at a softball game that is being organized by Jaces boss who just so happens to be Savannahs uncle. This meeting awakens feelings in both of them, feelings they thought didn't exist but they both have issues they need to get past before they can really become a couple...... The connection between Jace and Savannah is incredible and I found myself wishing and hoping for that HEA they deserved. This book deals with PTSD and Lexi really showed us there is no quick fix for this. I shed a tear here and there but I also laughed here and there. Loved It well Done Lexi Buchanan
What can I say? I think this was my favorite book of the series. The connection between Jace and Savannah was incredible.I laughed and cried. I was waiting for a last ditch attempt from Richard but it never came. I have to agree with Lexi I could have read so much more about Jace and Savannah story... sad that the series ended
Dear Barnes and Noble: I'd like my money back, please.
This book had a GREAT plot. Too bad it was so poorly written:( I finished it because I'd paid good money for it. There were enough holes and mistakes to drive a semi-truck through---several semi-trucks, actually.
I really loved this story, it was hot, sexy and emotional but definitely worth reading and I was sad when I got to the end but happy that things finally worked out for Jace and Savannah not just with each other but with Catcher and Tammy too.
I loved the story line of this book and I am so sorry to see the Bad Boy Rockers Series end. I truly enjoyed these series and I am saddened that this is the last of this series. I also wanted to give Lexi a shout out for her honoring our disable Vets.
3.5 stars I liked it but it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. Savanah and Jace were cute, I liked them both and I thought their relationship was very sweet but I felt that the book dragged on for too long. There was something missing for me at times and I wasn’t completely enthralled with the story. One thing I do have to say is that I completely loved Charlie and Tammy. They were the absolute cutest children and my heart melted every time they made an appearance.
This book didn't really live up to the hype for me. I'm not gonna lie I only originally bought the book because of the cover model but was intrigued once I read the blurb. I was a little disappointed with how Jace and Savannah were together.
What what a book. Glad is nothing to be taken for granted. People suffer. He loved her but was blindsided by what happened. They worked it out . This series was amazing
Wow! This is the end of the Bad Boy Rockers series, and what a way to go out.
Jace Stone was severely wounded and left to deal with the impact of that fateful day. We meet him years after the incident, but that doesn’t mean his nightmares are over. There are times when he wakes up in a cold sweat or worse, he remains asleep, thrashing and endangering anyone near him. It is this reason he keeps his distance and can’t fully commit to the girl who’s ensnared his heart and keeps hold of his thoughts.
Savannah Devereux was in a bad place in her life. She lost her last remaining parent a few years back and with that, lost herself. She entered a relationship with a man she didn’t really want to be with, but he was there at the time when she just needed someone. It’s not until she meets Jace that she feels the haze she’s been living in start to wear off. He awakens her mind and body, and for the first time makes her want.
Sinful is definitely filled with plenty of steam, but it’s also got a lot of heart. Jace is such a sweetheart. He’s charming, endearing, funny, good with kids, and it goes without saying, he’s hot. Oh, Jace, if only you knew how amazing you are. But, of course, there has to be a flaw in all that perfect. He won’t open up, well not fully. He doesn’t share with Savannah the nightmares that plague him and his fear of hurting her unconsciously. A girl can only take so much of feeling like she’s being pushed away before she decides to walk. Jace needs to act fast and lay it all out there for her. But what happens when they decide to face his demons together?
Jace has so much more healing to do, more than either of them fully realizes, and Savannah has to face the choice of putting her life on hold, again, or moving forward.
Sinful left my heart full. Jace and Savannah clearly belong together. They bring out the best in each other, but there are many hurdles for them to go through before they reach their HEA. And let me tell you, Lexi Buchanan keeps you on the edge till the very end.
I was honoured to get an ARC and loved every single word of this beautifully writen story <3
After loosing his leg while on duty and few bad years of not knowing what to do with himslelf former detective Jace Stone got his second chance to work for police as part-time consultant as well as an instructor at the academy. He was asked by his long time friend and chief of police department to teach softball to students of his niece Savannah Deveraux. The moment they met he's felt attraction to her, he' s dreamt almost every night of her.
After loosing her late father Savannah got engaged to Richard who helped her to not get lost in her mourning. Yet after one year co-working with Jace she is questioning herself why she hasn't ended the engagement to Richard as she doesn't love him and never has...everything she's felt is thankfulness and friendship. She wants to get know Jace outside of field and thinks about anything else than him.
What would they do?
Go get your copy and read this beautiful steaming hot story and find out. ;)
So we met Jace in Ryders book Savour. Jace is Ryders older brother who is coming to terms with losing his leg in a shoot out. He meets Savannah when asked by his boss to help the local softball team. Savannah awakens Jace with feelings he thought were long gone but there is one problem Savannah belongs to someone else.
Savannah knows her relationship with her fiancé is going no where, she doesn't even know why she is engaged to him, well thats not true he proposed whike she was at her most vulnerable, but deep down she knows she doesn't love him, how can she when she feels the way she does about Jace.
Determined to take charge of her life she puts right the 1 wrong thing and goes after what she really wants. Jace however is suffering from nightmares of the shooting and cant see a way to ever be with Savannah the way she deserves. Can the love of a strong women really give Jace the life he has dreamed about all his life or will the dreams he is currently having ruin everything.
I am a fan of Lexi but this is by far her best book to date.
I really loved this story this author comes up with amazing characters and story lines it was hot, sexy and emotional but definitely worth reading i love when and author has that in there stories and I was sad when I got to the end but happy with the ending :) loved this book did i say that already well i did loved it im also a fan of this series i mean sexy ;) i like a strong heroin Savannah was amazing she didn't hesitate to say what she wanted she fought hard for it and never gave up She was completely honest and loving Jace was awesome he was so loving and protective yet so unsure of himself he was also sexy to Jace and Savannah really are a great couple with some very hot chemistry man lexi can write some steam sexy times ;) the flow of the book steady i didnt fell rushed or bored so easily i also like how sinful brought to light how serious PTSD is and how it effects everyone around you Jace is such a strong hero and i admire him for that lexi buchannas books always go on my tbr list i cant wait for more :)
OMG!!!! Why'd it have to end!!!! I'm definitely going to need an extra dose of Jace and Savannah(novella please)... This book was AMAZING!!! I loved the easy flow of their love story, as well as the heartache of their brief demise. I loved the fact that Jace and Savannah overcame the struggles within their relationship and was able to raise and build a beautiful family. Even though I'm satisfied with the ending, I think I need more LOL Their had the ability to lift me and bring me down all in one chapter, and I love stories that do that for me. Overall, excellent book and I canNOT wait for the next one!!!
P.S. LOVED the "Blade" teaser!! But winter needs to get here already!!!
I don't know where to start. This book brought to light how serious PTSD is and how it effects everyone around you. Jace is strong but he went through hell to get there. Savannah loves helping at kids shelter and loves teaching. While Jace coaches her class in softball she realizes she may just be developing more than just respect for him. Jace is attracted to Savannah but doesn't know if he's good for her, cause he can't give 100% of himself. Well the demons keep them apart. This book wrecked me I just wanted to hug Jace and Savannah was awesome, she never gave up. Lexington did an awesome job. Definitely a 5***** read.
Another fab book about the Bad boy Rockers, it was Jace's turn. I think overall this is my favourite book. Jace & Savannah's attraction was immediate but it was the slow burn of their relationship due to other factors that had me hooked. I could feel the sexual attraction burning through the pages and I thought both characters were portrayed honestly, it also tackled difficult subjects such as PTSD and how there is no easy answer or quick fix. It was an often tough journey but it was their journey and it was beautiful. Great writing as always and Lexi certainly knows how to write a hot love scene! Scorching!
going to have to say that jace and savannah book is my favorite in the series the love that jace has for savannah is amazing my heart just breaks for them and the love that savannah has for jace is unbreakable and strong any woman that will wait for a man like she wait for jace is an amazing woman I have cried some happy and sad tears for them but in the end they where all happy tears I don't thank 5 STARS is enough for this book
Loved this book...love this series! When I read I look for a strong woman as well as an alpha male...I was pleased to have both in this book. Savannah was amazing......she didn't hesitate to say what she wanted ....she fought hard for it and never gave up! She was honest and loving! Jace was awesome! He was so loving and protective yet so unsure of himself. This book flowed so easily and everything that happened happened for a reason.....awesome!
Even though I struggled at the beginning of this book in reference to Jace & Savannah's relationship, I still found that I enjoyed it greatly. Especially since I can relate to Jace's situation. It's not the same as getting hurt but I do have a major trauma that does cause my anxiety attacks due to PTSD. We all need the love of family the most but also need to figure things out with help of professionals.
Oh my days!! Just give me a minute! How did I read this series through 2014/2015 and not write a review for any of them?!!! I have re-read this series so many times and only just realised that I rated but didn't review!! Jace is Ryder's brother and next to Phoenix, holds my heart in his hands! His story literally took me to my knees!! The emotion rolls off every page! This author makes you feel EVERYTHING. And I love these guys soooo much!!
Best book of the series! Love Jace and Savannah story. Love love how it ends. Wish it didn't so soon. I couldn't put it down. Also help with hoy model on the cover. Love BT !!! Wonderful job Lexi Buchanan.
This story while being part of a series ( which is great ) can be read alone. Its a great story about a man with an injury that leaves him with dark demons a low self esteem which he must try and over come to be with the woman he loves. Can a woman's love cure all, read on and find out.
I loved the story of Jace and Savannah. I had various emotions throughout the story. I wish we could see more of them. I'm glad Jace fought through his PTSD and Savannah supported him. Loved loved the book!!!
