Namiko and Maximilian are back, and they're determined to make Cori pay for the things that she's done, all while dealing with a handful of new rivals. Knowing she has made so many enemies, Cori has skipped town, making everyone wonder where to and why. In part two of Married to a Distinguished Thug, the least expected happens, causing more drama than ever; especially when Kiyuki starts sleeping with a former foe.
Will Namiko and Max find out who was really behind it all, or will they become too drawn into their new found drama to see it? Will Kiyuki turn over a new leaf in time? Or just take her scheming ways to new heights? And if she does change her ways, will her past even let her enjoy the fruits of her new life?
This series is lit 🔥. This book is jumping like crazy i believe my baby gonna have to kill his momma cause she's doing too much or my girl gonna do it for him. I hope Deshawn is ok cause Ev is bat shit crazy. U did good on yet another book and im looking forward to reading more of them. Sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and eating popcorn while waiting on the next book to read
I’m really enjoying the series. I like that Max is a standup guy that does not she on his wife. The only thing I wish this book had was more conversation after arguments between max and Nami. I wish they were talking things out instead of just having sex and thinking everything is good. Other than that I don’t have any real complaints.
This was better than the first one but still ok. I understand Kiyuki is trying to do better but I want karma to get her. I also don’t like how Max didn’t pay attention to the warning signs of his mother. I also kind of feel bad for Evelyn. I wish Deshawn didn’t fall for Kiyuki
Every book by her is amazing. I’m reading this again and realized I didn’t review it. I’m stressed nerves bad waiting to finish like I haven’t already experienced this bomb af book!
I don't know who wrote this book, but it wasn't Shvonne. The characters were naive and simple-minded. How is it no one figured out Yuki was causing all these problems.
This was a good book. Namiko got on my nerves a little bit when it came to constantly dealing with Max's crazy mot. The ending was a shock for me. Need to know how this ends for Kiyuki once and for all. Great writing.
I was really anticipating part 2 to this book and thankfully all of my expectations were met!!! This was a great follow-up to part 1. Namiko seems to be growing in confidence as a woman and really finding her place beside the all powerful Max. That mother in law Ms. Gwen was a piece of work and she is definitely not the sharpest knife in the drawer. I want to feel sorry for Kiyuki but honestly even though people can change I just can't seem to muster a pity bone in my body for what I am sure is about to come her way. To turn on family that's like the ultimate betrayal and for me there is no coming back from that but we will see. All in all Ms. Shvonne did not disappoint and has proven yet again she is a cut above the rest. Great job Ms. Shvonne Latrice!!! People you will not be let down reading this my only bone of contention is having to wait for part 3 all in all though, I would say that it will be worth the wait!!!! Kudos!!!!
Bamako & Max are good having fun in life. It is just that his mother has issues & one being her boyfriend Alfred. He has her doing all kinds of things. Anuki has started hanging with Max brother Konz. Not sure if it's a good idea or not. Now Deshawn has taken a liking to Yuki. He just doesn't know all the evil stuff she has done. Cori has left but she is on her way back. Will she has proof about who cause the trouble to Namiko or will she take her last breathe. Everybody is having relationship problems but not sure of the outcomes. On to part 3 to see what will happen. Love is beautiful with the right person & the right reasons. But when it's built in a lie there are lots that could go wrong. I really enjoyed the read with all the plots & twists in it.
I just lost all respect for Evelyn it's amazing how some women will let a man reduce them down to. Namiko was way better than me because Gwendolyn would have been out of there a long time ago. I can't wait for karma to catch up to Yukiki how dare she think she's going to live her dream while she made everyone else miserable? I can't wait for part 3 I hope Cori hurry up but overall this was a good entertaining read you won't be disappointed.
This has got to be the most naive group of people on the planet. All the betrayal is coming from inside the house and nobody sees it. Ugh! Max, yep your mom needs help; hopes it's not to late for ya. Deshawn, idiot. That older sister is a piece of work, can't believe she is still breathing.
This was an ok read. I wasn't too impressed with this installment. Like one of the reviewers said, everyone seemed naive and childish in this book. Like Max's mother was crazy along with Evelyn. Namiko to me was still naive and gullible. Hopefully, I will enjoy the next installment better.
The story continues. The drama continues. Family turning against each other trying to take each out. Omg, Max's mama was just as crazy as a bed bug. I'm glad that he finally put her in her place. I highly recommend this read starting with the first installment. You will not be disappointed.
Well once again yuki is in full attack mode, but now you kind of soften to her. Trying to change just may have cost her the one man that loved her. And if nami don't get a back bone and quit begging Gwen's retarded butt to like her. The chaos and drama continues and hold on for the ride and Max is still karma!! Love this author's authenticity of characters.
Wow I can't believe Kiyuki got everybody believing her lies. Max should of been got his mother in check. I hope my Boyz are alright. Cori coming to do some damage.
I'm a bag fan of Shvonne Latrice's work and decided to read this old series. How the hell can you easily forgive someone who tried to kill you, your man, and your baby??? Wthhh
I was so mad at his mom at the end of this book. I couldn't wait to read part 3, so I could see if she got what she deserved. I was pissed off like how you do that to your son
